Vincent Price's voice for the creepy-win. Hah! There's a reason he's a horror movie icon. Turns out in real life he was a complete sweetheart of a guy. The kind of person who would give a stranger the shirt off his back. Season 2 manages to be just as amazing without being a total retread of Season One.

Vincent Price has that effect in general, not just for Michael Jackson's Thriller. His voice oozes of the scary vibe creep factor. It is wonderful. I was hoping you'd do the teaser as well, but it is alright that you didn't. I guess I just love the opening use of a real 80's Eggos commercial that was incorporated into it.

I must say, this is one of the best trailers i have ever seen. This song is so correctly mixed up with the trailer it is goosebump giving. Like you say Nikki, i also found that voice creepy as well as the music video but i loved it later. Im glad you are at season 2. This one is even so much better then season 1 and with the pace you are doing this i cant wait to see your reactions. Have fun watching :-)

Vincent Price was so great. Edward Scissorhands was the last movie he was in before he died. If a biopic ever happens, I hope Benedict Cumberbatch plays him. He looks so much like him in Doctor Strange. :)

Yes, "something" is going on with Will, so that he has flashes between our world and the Upside Down. But you have to figure out what's happening as you go along, because any clues would be too spoilerific. It builds through to the final ep of the season. So you get 9 great episodes to keep you hiding behind the couch or hugging each other. Or both! This could be a good thing. :D

"That Voice" was Vincent Price. -- But it's OK, you won't get a Thriller clip in season 2. It's another nostalgia reference. -- Check the other season 2 trailers if you want, though it looks like you got one of them there. -- The characters continue to be awesome, you get a few new people too, and the stakes are higher. As before, they give you pieces bit by bit and occasional red herrings and regular cliffhangers and teaser openers. If you liked season 1, you'll like 2 also. Oh, and plenty of 80's authentic stuff. (When season 2 starts, I was starting college in real life, so haha, I know the show gets things right.) Word is, we'll get more fun stuff like that in season 3. (They have said there will be at least two big movies referenced in season 3.) Season 2 starts with a (something, something, my spoiler filter kicked in, haha.)

Okay, I gotta be that guy and ask, why would you watch the trailer? You didn't need to be convinced to check out the second season as you were already planning on watching it. You hadn't simply decided to check it out. You were EXCITED about watching it. You didn't have to wait a long time between seasons so you didn't need to have your appetite whet to hold you over. You won't get any enhanced viewing pleasure by watching it. Instead, you can only be spoiled by seeing things the writers and directors did not mean for you see out of their storytelling timeline. Trailers are tradeoffs. If it means that eyes that wouldn't have seen the show wind up seeing it or if a long layoff saw the excitement/anticipation for the next season waning, then the spoilers would've been worth it. But there's no tradeoff for folks in your shoes, only the downside. That said, I know you two are pretty chill and advanced knowledge of scenes won't have any adverse effect on your overall viewing pleasure. But in a "contest" of upsides and downsides, it's... well, no contest. Enjoy the season proper.

We watched both trailers to S1 and it did nothing to spoil the show. just like watching this one trailer won't ruin our viewing of this season. Completely different tone than the first one and your right, I think I got chills twice in that final trailer. I was just shaking my head towards the ending of that one in disbelief that this was a trailer for a tv show. Movie quality stuff for sure.

Michael Ward, right, it's like 1000x more epic than the thriller trailer. By the end you are sitting there in disbelief that it's for a tv show rather than a film. Possibly the best trailer I've ever seen for anything period. The score just keeps building and building and the organ and massive drums... guh. There's no comparison imo. The thriller trailer was cool only for the fact that it was thriller.
