The flayed were indeed drinking the chemicals. Back when Mike's mom went to talk to Billy, you briefly seem him put down a bottle of cleaning supplies while his mouth is wet as your first hint. It wouldn't really matter if it screwed up their bodies since they're already flayed. Also I'm surprised you didn't notice the flayed share pain. That why when Jonathan hit one with a vase, the other held the same spot the first one was hit and said ow, in order to convey that.

Defeating Billy wasn't the main goal, they were trying to save him. Also Billy is the main host so he's probably more durable and stronger than the others. It's also likely too late to involve other cops, the mayor at this point has ordered the cops to arrest Hopper.

14:06 I said it in the first season, and I'll reiterate it now - Steven could have kicked Jonathan's ass last season. He just didn't have the heart to do it. I told my son this when watching it together, and he agreed. We could tell just by the way Steven fights, that he could REALLY fight. But the fight with Billy?, well.... I didn't like him at the beginning, until that fight with Jonathan, then I realized that he's not so bad & I knew his arc was going to change - and I was proven right. Erica is BOLD & FEARLESS. That's her specialty. Being cocky comes in handy, sometimes. She's a great addition to the crew - as well as Robin. Great reaction & great editing (as usual)! 😊🌺🏝️❤️

In the previous season, I loved the way that Max was shown using nearly every one of a rogue's special abilities (she backstabs! she picks locks! she climbs walls!), yet she doesn't know D&D so doesn't know how to best sell herself as a useful member of the boys' "party." One of my biggest disappointments was that it seems they never actually brought her into their campaign. Bummer, that.

11 and Billy are my favorite, they really held this season, I like Steve too. Billy isn’t a jerk, he can’t control it. He acts the way he does is because of his dad, you’ll see more. You can tell in some of the show where Billy has tears and he’s still in there and is literally asking for help. You don’t have to take the screen off just edit it like you do
