The only thing about the ending I can say with quite a bit of confidence is: The last moments of the last episode will be a time-jump (and not directly after the final battle). How long it will be I am not sure yet. At least enough that we can see them living a somewhat normal life again and how that looks now, but I don't know if it will be the normal "end-of-season" jumps ST does (a few months at most) or if they will go fully "Harry Potter" with it and jump several years. I don't think they will go as far as Harry Potter (jumping your young adults into parents) but I do think they might do a longer jump than other seasons simply to show them in a totally normal setting with not much of the battle left, so that we can see and imagine ourselves what their live will look like going forward. Again, the only thing I am pretty sure about is that there will be a time-jump at the end for the last scenes of the last episode because that makes both sense for the final episode of a series which was build on characters and is something ST has done with every season so they will not stop in the final season Also, I honestly think if you are a main actor of the series for more than 1 season you would want to be at that table-read even if your character isn't even alive in that episode. Now, if the Duffers and Netflix would allow that to happen and add another risk for accidental leaks I don't know but if they were allowed I could 100% see Main Actors being at that read that aren't even in that final episode. Maybe they even anticipated that we would speculate when a big actor is not at that final table-read (especially if they want to use recordings of that read for promotional purposes)

This is bittersweet, I seen this show when I was in middle school and this show was my first higher rating show I’ve seen. I remember when I seen this late in 7th grade and heading to 8th grade, 2 seasons have been out and season 3 released a week later. Season 3 was more nostalgic to me. I got into the show because of the retro mobile game. Season 4 is on its way to be nostalgic. Basically this show is special to me. I don’t know if there will be anything like this again. Maybe.

Honestly. It’s gonna be so rough trying to handle it ending. It’s gonna be rough realizing that when we watch the last episode it will be the last episode for the first time. It’s so sad like this show has been a part of our lives for so long, and for me I am younger so it feels so sad because I grew up with this show, I am basically the age the actors were when they started but a little older. Plus just the feeling this show gives me when I watch it is so great. I really wish I could watch all the seasons for the first time again so I know now to go into watching season 5 to really take it in. Probably gonna cry the first two minutes of the first episode just knowing that it’s all over now lol. But it made me love this show so much more knowing how they all are in person and how they basically are their characters and how they all interact with each other is just like they do in the show. Heck, this show even has made me have dreams of being an actor and being able to create a family of my own through a set. For anyone who hasn’t gone beyond Netflix as far as stranger things goes. You really need to watch all their interviews, and even just social media posts like on TikTok, it creates so much more of a barrier that makes you fall in love with this show.♥️

So uhmm.... me and my parenrs are watching stranger things currently, just rewarching, and we are on Piggyback now. My dad dropped a hard theory that would make me cry. The following is what he said. "Knowing the Duffer brothers' writing style and how they love to make us grow attatched to characters only for them to die, It would be hardcore as hell if the bad guy won. Stranger things is so different from other shows and the writers like that, so it would only make sense." Theory two from him: "I think that Will is going to sacrifice himself for Mike and say something Cheesy before hand to tell him he loves him. And then hes gonna go do whatever and then die." Debuted July 16 2016... We dont have a release date but i really wish this didnt have to take so long to get to 5 seasons. 4 awesome seasons, and im sure 5 will be as well but im excited to think that we will finally get there.

Having watched Stranger Things The First Shadow, there’s so many ways this could go. I’m very conscious of not wanting to spoil the play for anyone yet to see it. However, as a result, my ‘most out there’ prediction for the ending of S5 ‘could’ be that Henry sacrifices himself to save 011 (and/or possibly Patty?). Again, this is my ‘most likely most out here’ suggested ending.

no I don't think so because if max was set to be killed in season 5 they would've killed her off in season 4 and not bring her back to life and put into a coma and killed off again.For me it's literally 1% of chance that the duffer will kill her off.

I feel like El or Hopper dying is off the table, unless they kill them both. We already had a Hopper death scare where everyone thought he was gone. It seems like it would be cliche and take away from him actually dying if it happened again. And I feel like killing El would just add insult to injury for Hopper who has already lost a daughter. It would destroy an already broken man and in essence kill him.

I Know How Kali Returns! And I know who Linda Hamilton’s character is!!!!!!!!! In the episode you claim to skip and never watch: season 2; episode 7; the lost sister, Eleven’s mother’s sister (being the idiot that she is) calls the number for the military experimentation people, in charge of Hawkins lab at the beginning of the episode to report both 11 and 8 as “missing girls in trouble,” she mentions knowing she should have contacted Hopper and Joyce but they weren’t answering their phones, and says “thank you and what’s your name again? Thank you Florence.” Linda Hamilton is Florence! “No new characters,” after all. That’s the reason for the tour de force by the military in season 4, hindered briefly in season 3, by Dr Sam Owens making Jane into Hoppers daughter on paper (or by Kali being hard to capture). Now in season 5, Florence is in Hawkins after it implodes, and after having captured both Kali (which could be explained in an episode that shows her capturing Kali during our team’s season 3), and now that military team also captured Dr Sam Owens. So both Kali and Owens could show up this way. And if they are at the military compound that gets overthrown by Vecna! Wow! Just Wow! This could be a shock of a twist save for one of the characters and a decent way for Kali to go down in a way that redeems her character’s arc. I just honestly hope they get to pay it off, like maybe before she dies she explains to someone how she escaped back in the day, and it somehow connects to the escape of 6, 9 and 9&1/2 from the comic book the Duffer’s said was cannon. And Brenner just replaced 6 & 9 with two new kids to save face. And those new kids were the 6 & 9 killed by Henry. Also, Will was possessed by the mind flayer and not Henry: the mind flayer sees Bob and Hopper and doesn’t recognize them and eventually Will forgets his brother and mom, Henry knows all of those people! From the play! He went to school with all of them! He would have known exactly who Bob the nerd was and made fun of him relentlessly because that is Henry’s arrogance! So Henry is not the main bad guy of season 2, which is the season the Duffer’s told us to watch. They also said the VR game was cannon, and Henry admits to not being in control when he killed his mom and sister, and he admits the monster wanted out into the real world before Henry was even born. That means the mind flayer may be one of the original number 1’s from MKUltra! The very thing this show was meant to be about from the beginning. The mind flayer as Emperor Palpatine, and Vecna as his Vader, and Karen as Henry’s sister? I mean Henry blacked out so what does he know, and his dad thought Henry was dead too so what does he know, they are both unreliable narrators of that night. This could get very interesting indeed. I wonder what other numbers Florence may have captured who could potentially escape the military compound in an after credits scene revealing Vecna didn’t have time to kill everyone there.

Series finale predictions- Will sacrifices himself to sever the hive mind which he's still connected to. El, who's probably pretty beat up at this point, fights the Mind Flayer and tears it apart. She uses a piece of the Mind Flayer to drop on Vecna and he drops to the ground while another piece of the Mind Flayer hits El. Vecna tells El he was controlled by the Mind Flayer the whole time and he's sorry for everything he's done. El knows he manipulated her before so she rightfully assumes Vecna's doing some manipulation again so she just shakes her head as Vecna slowly dies. Max IMMEDIATELY wakes up as soon as Vecna dies. El lies on the ground as Mike rushes to get back to her. He gets back just in time for El to say "Goodbye, Mike" as everyone's emotional about it. Without Vecna or the Mind Flayer, the gate begins to close. The kids run to the gate and barely make it. Kali's also dead at this point, and all of the supernatural stuff is completely removed from the world forever.

Mike dies sacrificing himself for the party- being the leader he was from the start… eleven sees this and unlocks her new powers when papa said she will need to fly… she then rises into the sky like a super saiyan… exploding with rage and new found powers finally decimating vecna for good while also sacrificing herself to then bring back Mike…. It will be a sad ending….. my prediction lmaoooo

I so wish we can get the first 5 episodes early spring of 2025 . Man, vecna in the real world sounds so awesome. Imagine 001 as Vecna going through great military base and just demolishing shit and taking the guns from all of them. Because I wonder if Hawkins is gonna be 100% the upside down come season 5 . Noah will find a way to spoil everything. Jokes aside, having read some leaks / speculation of how S5 may play out, i am really excited. Even if its just speculation. Also think Dustin's safe since the actress that plays his mother isn't in the final season and i doubt there could be a funeral for him without her. But it's still not off the table. I can see Will sacrificing himself to sever the connection between him and Vecna / Mindflayer for good.
