The Steve and Robin bathroom scene is my favorite in the season. In the 80s being gay was a big deal and a lot of people judged it. The fact that Steve not only accepted it but also joked around with her shows both his strength as a character as well as his overall growth. Beautiful scene.

Especially considering it wasn't just accepting her sexuality, but her rejection when he was both very vulnerable and loopy from drugs. I'm queer and I'd still be like, "no judgement, but I'm hurting right now. I'll talk to you again in a day or two." And then try to make it out of there without crying. Steve seems to handle rejection spectacularly between the girls who go into Scoops Ahoy, Nancy, and now Robin. So vulnerable, but never losing focus on the main objective.

Lucas was such a MVP this episode. He knows he doesn't have powers like Eleven, but that doesn't stop him from protecting/defending himself and others, and he knows he can be powerful like Eleven in his own way, like using his wrist rocket and the fireworks. I love that he never gets rid of the wrist rocket despite having Eleven around. Like yeah he's a typical human, but he can definitely do atypical things in his own way.

He really didn’t deserve the hostility even in season 1; his suspicions about El turned out to be wrong, but they weren’t _a priori_ unreasonable, and once he had compelling evidence to change his mind, he owned right up to it and apologized to her. One of my favorite small character beats in the show is the bit after El uses the sensory deprivation pool in the gym where she’s sitting on the bleachers, resting her head on Mike’s shoulder while Lucas wraps a towel around her and Dustin reaches over from Mike’s other side to pat her on the knee. Seeing all three of the boys caring for their new friend after a particularly scary and exhausting use of her powers is heartwarming.

Yes, it was funny in a way, but totally destroyed the tension. It all seemed so unnaturally worked in. Usually, the humor throughout the series comes in a flow, so everything fits naturally. This one was so outside, really ruined the end for me.

This episode made me cry so hard! As soon as I saw what was happening with Joyce trying to turn those keys I remembered the first scene of the season I knew Hop was dead. When Eleven was reading that note I had full blown ugly cried. Because I was having an emotional week that week already with some not so great things in real life. And I don’t know why but seeing Will balling his eyes out not wanting to leave his friends was the final straw. I couldn’t take another sad thing. CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE SEASON 4 REACTIONS!!! I think at the time, they pretty much confirmed Hop was still in season 4 because people kept taking photos of them going to film season 4, so they couldn't keep it under wraps. I cant help it but just love and feel sympathy for Billy. In season 2 i obviosly didnt like him but in this season he became one of my favorite character’s , this whole time he was nothing but just a broken boy who missed his mom , he wasnt an evil person , he only acted as an asshole as a way to hide the pain he had inside , and Eleven showing him kindness was enough for him to shie his good side and he redeemed himself by saving her and apologizing to Max. I dont care what some people think , i have respect for Billy.

When I initially came across your channel and saw you as reactors, I thought you might be just another young couple offering uneducated reactions that could be frustrating to watch. I figured I'd try you as another adorable girl with her boyfriend for the laughs. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that you both are incredibly insightful and knowledgeable. Your reaction to Loki Season 2 impressed me and showcased your insightful perspectives. Also, your release strategy stands out as superior compared to other channels. It's frustrating when you can't wait for someone to get through to the later seasons but I LOVE how you release multiple episodes at once AND often. I usually give Stranger Things reactors a chance, considering it's such a top show. The same goes for iconic movies like Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, etc. Also, I extend that courtesy to almost every Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul reactor. However, if the reaction doesn't meet my expectations, I drop them like a hot potato. You guys have managed to become one of my favorites. If there were an award for the Best Reactors, I would undoubtedly vote for you to receive a nomination.😃

Concerning Smirnoff: famous vodka brands in the world are, besides Smirnoff, Stolichnaya, Absolut and Finlandia plus a whole lot of others like The Grey Goose, US no1 vodka from France. The good thing about clear alcohol ('voda' means 'water' really and 'vodka' is 'little water') is that it gives a smaller headache usually than brandy or whisky or other coloured drinks. Like organic red wine is easier for the body than non-organic brands.

OH Man!!!! This was such a great finale!! I am looking forward to the next season from you all already! Also, remember that David Harbour went from Stranger Things to playing Red Guardian/Alexi in Black Widow. Also, Russian "terminator" was intentionally modeled after Arnold's Terminator! If you notice, even the wounds he had at the end were similar to the cyborg's damage. And if you haven't already, The Never Ending Story bears a watch, even if you don't react to it.... You guys should definitely give "The 100" a try. It's a show where humanity lives on a space station due to a doomsday event on Earth leaving it uninhabitable for years. 100 kids who were born in space are sent to the ground as a sort of "experiment".

8:25 this was a big thing back during this year/s. Coke tried to change their formula and they called it the “New Coke”. But everyone hated it so much they brought back the original and called it “classic coke”. It’s still that today. So Lucas liking new coke was to depict that moment in culture history

The scene with the Coke is referring to New Coke, there was a whole thing in the 80s where they changed the formula for Coke and people were really mad, then they sold both for a while as "New Coke" and "Coca Cola Classic", then finally got rid of the new one and (sort of) went back to the old formula. It's an interesting story about the power of marketing because in blind taste tests people actually preferred the new formula, they were just mad when they knew the formula had changed.

Billy’s death hurts me so much as someone who went through child abuse. He was so happy before he met Max’s dad and you can see just how hurt he is every time he’s present. He truly could’ve been a wonderful person had he recovered and worked on himself and all chance of that was taken away from him. He died miserable.

Yeah the actress playing eleven is really dam good . So is the actor that plays Billy . His scene with her in that sauna episode was insane acting! Crazy to see Billy at the end kinda redeemed himself after seing how this whole season he was being mind controlled the entire time with harming people in dangerous ways . Eleven was able to snap Billy out of it in that moment of her discussing his past trauma and childhood to have him help to try and stop the mindflayer. Even though Billy was such an asshole of a bully to others even he knew he wasn’t as bad as what he was forced to be this season after what the mindflayer made him do . Billy had a rough childhood and went through alot of abuse from his dad and it was sad it made him be the way he was to people . Sucks he died and I felt so bad for max seing him go .
