I think Will is being attacked by Vecna or being possessed and he's screaming at Steve telling him he needs to run repeatedly because he's probably hesitant on whether he should stay and try to help him or run for his own safety. And then "grab him by the throat" is a director telling Vecna to choke Will.

Theory: Steve is in the upside down which is why Dustin asks “can you hear me,” and it would also explain why he is yelling at the top of his lungs, trying to make sure Steve knows the RUNNN. It’s almost as if Dustin and the Radio gang was alerted somehow that something is coming after Steve in the upside down. Maybe something to do with lights or eleven looking through the the void? Also mentioning the upside down, it could explain why you can hear Vecnas voice in the second clip. Let’s hope Vecna isn’t after Steve!

After listening to it several times, it sounds like Will yelling "Guys, guys do you hear me? You need to run. RUN!" Not Steve. But to be honest, the ones that need to be told to RUN!!!! are the ones that are stuck in the trance, they need music from their favorite song to bring them back. So that means it could be someone yelling for the person stuck in Vecna's mind palace that they need to run for where they hear the music coming from (as music and soundtrack would be added in post so as not to drown out the actors acting). The second one could be Vecna grabbing Will by the throat because he's mad at him for telling the others to run instead of being mind controlled like he had thought. Will was also the one seen in the Radio tower building set, with Steve. As Jancy and Dustin are with Joyce in the van, out looking for Mike, according to random pics and previous Funko Pop set pics..

The voice sounds like Hopper or Eddie to me. But the dialogues reminds me of the scene in season one when Will is trap in the Upside down and he's talking to Joyce through the wall. Joyce said something like that to Will right before the wall closed back ; "You have to run! RUN!!" But since the Duffer Brothers said in an interview that all the answers are in season one I think my brain works too much to find all the said answers ahah

There are two possibilities.. 1. Either Dustin and Jonathan are held captive by someone either a human or thr tentacles of upside down and are genuinely terrified and worried about steve and are warning him to get away from the enemy area... 2. The ones who are screaming are far off and are communicating with the help of the radio at the WSQK radio station.. These are the only things i can imagine as of right now

That last RUUUUNNNN is going to hit harder than Caleb crying out for Max man. But it doesnt sound very much like Will to me. If he really did say "Steve" it's either going to be Jonathan or Dustin, two characters whose sacrifice would be the most impactful. Dustin is his best friend and saw eddie do the same thing for him. Jonathan would do it for Nancy if he sees she wants to be with Steve as hinted at last season. I dont think anyone else would make much sense.

Also i really think he´s dead because the last couple of seconds that he was alive in S3 he saved all the kids (Eleven, Max, Mike, Will and Lucas) by sacrificing himself to the mindflayer, and in the next season, S4, we also see Billy, but its sort of a `flashback´ that Vecna gives Max because Max thinks its her fault that Billy is dead but it isnt her fault. Plus it was recently confirmed that it is actually (for S5) Will screaming to Steve `STEVE... YOU HAVE... TO RUN!´ Which is ofcourse REALLY really terrifying because it could be Will being posessed by Vecna and WIll warning Steve before Steve gets hurt by Will (This reply took LOOONGGG for me to type help lolll XD)

Yeah I was afraid of that as he is my favorite and it didn't make sense with Steve since they aren't close at all and that scream was too emotional. And to be honest I don't hear Steves name at all in the video. But now because of the potential title for the second episode of the missing Wheeler, which Mike would make the most sense to me for so many obvious reasons. If Vecna kidnapped Mike to the Upside Down, this would totally make sense for Will to have this emotional bloodcurdling scream if this was Mike he's trying to save.

I think what may be happening here is that Will is positioned at the radio station in order to warn the group of impending dangers that may be headed their way as they split up to execute some plan. Given Will has the connection with Vecna and demo creatures, this seems plausible. Also consider how the voice asks "Steve, can you hear me? You need to run." If the person asking the question was in the same physical space as Steve, they wouldn't need to ask if he can hear them. Also, if this were Dustin, it would not make sense because Dustin has no way of knowing if Steve were in imminent danger if they were separated, however, Will could use his connection with the demo creatures to sense this. Vecna/demo creatures may also be attempting to intefere with the connection, and Will is trying to confirm that Steve can hear him. This may also imply that Steve in fact cannot hear him, and may be in peril.

I think it sounds like Steve is saying “NANCY, DO YOU HEAR ME,” because maybe nancy is in a trance and/or being attacked by demodogs, vines, etc. And then someone else tells Steve that he needs to run so he won’t get caught by whatever as well and then Steve screams because nancy is killed while she is in a trance. I really hope that isn’t what really ends up happening😭😭😭

Ok, now Steve is also an option for the male screamer. I've been replying to a lot of comments that both the screamer and the character running could be any 2 characters from the show. So it's not like anything is confirmed at all and this is a massive huge spoiler that was not suppose to be out. But considering there are multiple opinions on who is screaming and who is running that may be ok ( although somebody has to be right but who? ). So now all male characters have been mentioned as the screamer. As for the runner, a few ( both male and female ).

I mean if Steve died it would be sad but not surprising, he was originally meant to die in the first season but Joe was able to convince the Duffer brothers to keep his character alive. Him dying would have impacts on the plot and would be a way for the Duffer brothers to get their way lol.

It has to be Jonathan. I don't think this video was taken on the road as you said. The video is repeated twice with 2 different audio clips, so I think it's just a clip to go along with it. The vocal inflection just appears to be Jonathan to me.

I put the audio to my ear without looking at the subtitles, and yeah from what I heard it sounded very much like it could be Dustin and I heard him call for Steve twice. I dunno but I feel like it’s gonna be a death scene where Dustin protects Steve, orrr it could also be Dustin in a safe place seeing Steve in Danger or knowing that something is headed toward him, and yells for Steve to run on the radio maybe walkie-talkie. The fact he says do you hear me makes me think that Dustin might be at the radio station which probably will be run down by vines and upside down foliage, while Steve might be in the upside down which is why Dustin yells can you hear me as the radio probably doesn’t work well between dimensions. The possibility Steve might have to run makes me think that it’s not Vecna himself coming but an upside down creature, maybe the reshaped depiction of Will’s dragon. This is just what I was theorizing.

I know. I was hoping it wasn't since he's my favorite but it doesn't make any sense with Steve though ( they barely know each other ). Dustin screaming for Steve like that would make sense because they are close. That scream was way too emotional like that other person is everything to the screamer. So I listened closely and I can't hear Steves name at all. I think I may have heard a very faint " Mike " at the very beginning ( some others heard Mike too ). Plus that rumor on the second title of the missing Wheeler ( which to me Mike makes the most sense ). If Vecna kidnapped Mike then Will screaming like that for him to run makes so much sense. Not only is he his best friend but we found out in season 4 that Will is in love with him. Will would definitely do anything for Mike.
