He tried doing a version of Survivor on a private Roblox server with 40 people. Coney accidentally merged the teams early on so the voting was among almost all the people in the server so it was taking >95% of the time. There was about 3.5 hours of just waiting as intense music played and Coney gradually got more and more embarrassed about the stream quality.

They made melee in 13 months by porting smash 64's code/engine over, creating new models & textures, quickly coding new mechanics, spitting stages out super quick, and basically doing everything to get to the end result as fast as possible. From what I understand it was an "ends justifies means" process and they used spaghetti code for everything. It's actually pretty amazing. At around the same time other teams at nintendo created pokemon crystal in about 1 year and created Majora's mask in under 2 years. The N64 to Gamecube transition was actually insane.
