Girl, I lived in the PNW for 16 years = every house + apartment I lived in was mold central! As soon as we left that bio-region I felt so much better. I know mold exists everywhere but your mold issues are real. Keep taking care of yourself 🌞

A great way to preserve your health and livelihood is to continue old school covid precautions. Masking, social distancing, updated vaccinations. Especially masking. Girl!! PLEASE adopt y’all!! It’s totally fine, I promise. I’m from south Louisiana, New Orleans if you will. And we are really more cajun French than country. Y’all is and always has been a huge part of our culture in the bayou. I can see where some people consider it the country try but it’s not the same as Mississippi/Alabama country. It used to seem/ feel illiterate years ago and it would feel like people were making fun of me when they’d say it, but now I can see from socials that it’s spread so far and in a positive way. Oh my god. I could feel your pain when you were taking about your neighbour. I live in an apartment where I also have a terrible neighbour. He lives right next to us (me and my boyfriend). He works for 1 day (24 hours), the next two days he spends at home. And during these two days he listens to the music almost non-stop starting in the morning and stops at 1 o’clock after midnight. The music is incredibly loud. And the songs are the same all the time. I tried talking to him, but he doesn’t give a sh*t. I feel so exhausted by this noise. I can’t sleep when I want to. Sometimes I sleep on a couch in the kitchen, because it’s way to loud in our bedroom (which is right next to this neighbour’s apartment).I can’t read in the silence when I want to. It’s a nightmare, I understand you so much. I hope so much that one day he will move out or we will be able to afford a new apartment.

I once lived in a 1st floor condo at the beach in my state. It was an older building with copper plumbing. Most people know copper plumbing is a problem but the property managers didn't want to shell out the money to replumb all the buildings so they just paid for patchwork any time one of the pipes sprung a leak, which happened often. My bedroom wall shared plumbing with the condo beside us. One day I noticed the carpet in my room was damp right in front of my dresser and I investigated. Long story short, the carpet was soaking wet under my dresser and going almost the whole length of that wall. I had the building repairman come check it out and they found an upper floor pipe that was leaking all the way down to my room. They pulled back the carpet and we found black mold on the subfloor. Pulled down sheetrock and found black mold on the walls between the sheetrock and the exterior wall. The whole wall had to be replaced along with all of the carpeting. Before replacing it they had to remediate the mold. I had been sick for months while I was living there and had no idea it was because I was exposed to black mold for who knows how long. If you believe your current respiratory issues were caused by that mold and you can prove a correlation you can sue your former landlord for making you sick. Black mold is a huge health problem and landlords know this. They should have to pay in some way for not doing anything to remediate the mold in that apartment. FWIW

I had everything you had all the same symptoms back in early October, but by day 3 or 4 when nothing was killing the pain in my throat I took a Covid test and it did come out positive. 7 days after I tested positive, I tested negative again. Then a week later a cough started that felt like my lungs were being yanked out. It was super bad. It’s my second time getting Covid since delta. Both were bad, but this took the cake. Hope u feel better soon!

Sorry you’ve been sick. I got sick from a lady at work. Wasn’t in my nose but fire in my sinuses/throat, body aches and then the cough that went to bronchitis and still coughing a month later. Tested twice for the C virus and negative. Something is definitely going around and it lingers

Omg streptococcus. F it. I had strep my entire life. Always sick. I’m a super carrier. And for whatever reason in the 90s and through my whole childhood I never got my tonsil out even though I was always sick. Fast forward to January 2021 and 2 years of working with immunology and ENT to prove my need to have my tonsils removed as a then 27 year old. omg 😱 I truly felt the whole experience was traumatic. But I’ve been mostly strep free since then. Minus literally 3 times. But hopefully you get to 100% better very soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed this! I was home the last 2 weeks due to Covid. The first week because my boss had it and we couldn't see patients. The second week because the staff caught it. I'm shocked this was the first time we all had it, considering we're in a dental office. I was fortunately only down for two days. The first day back to the office I felt like I looked like a drag queen because I hadn't worn makeup for so long. I agree with the less makeup, thinner layers theory too. I wear much less makeup now than when I was younger. (I turned 60 in October) Eyeshadow primer rec is Milani. It's slightly tinted, goes on very smoothly, and doesn't dry out or irritate my dry/eczema-prone skin. Feel better!!!

MY SHADOW WONT BLEND ANYMORE EITHER ON MY LEFT EYE!! Omgggg I swear, I’m 42 now, but it’s like the moment I was in the stretch to 40 doing makeup became so annoying and complicated! I think it’s a dry patch from age and from applying & removing makeup. I didn’t get into makeup heavy until I was 29, single mom. I legit bought a Smokey Urban Decay eyeshadow palette and it came with a booklet with step by step illustrated instructions for about 10 looks. “Rockstar, Cat Eye” etc. I quickly learned those and mastered them. Along the way learned my base and structure. I was good to go! Now with a million tutorials, etc. at my fingertips, I take FOREVER to get my makeup done. Dry patches, fine lines, my eyebrows fell about 4 feet lower 😅 AHHHHHH

Eye primer suggestion! I had problems with a patch on my eye not wanting to take makeup or blend too! So bizzare. I don't know if it's the eczema honey eye lotion I've been using or that and the L.O.C.K. eye primer but that's a winning combo for me. And it's such a good price. Loooove that red eyeliner situation so much.

Girrrrrrl, I work in healthcare for the past 13 years and last week was my FIRST time getting COVID. Omg! I had the gastrointestinal version (FUN) said no one! I’ve been so sick. Awful! So I feel ya. I’m 49 and I use to keep sinusitis, strep, tonsillitis, etc. so I feel ya. Bless your soul darling. Glad you’re some better.

Sorry to hear about your cold Alex! In my experience trying to prevent super bad symptoms with catching a cold or flu - good sleep, and exercising regularly has been the most effective. I also take a multivitamin but I’m not sure that’s really effective for me personally but a placebo is still something! Lol

I tested at home for C and every test was neg. I was fighting sinus, throat, cough, headache for over a week. Then went to walk in and tested positive. Got the antiviral meds and started to feel better. Seems whatever is going around is really bad. Glad you're doing better! Many blessings!!💖💖💖
