Fun Fact: This scene was shot on at the 3 way intersection of Jefferson Street, Myrtle Avenue and Broadway in Bklyn NY. One block up the street from the house where I grew up. I saw them filming this scene. I also saw 3 other movie filmed there: The scene in Ghost where Willie Lopez is haunted by Patrick Suaze’s ghost and he gets hit by a bus; the scene in King of NY where Lawrence Fishburne’s character goes into a burger joint and the cops bust in and arrest him and most recently the scene in American Gangster where Denzel Washington and his wife are shot at in a drive by while sitting in their car. One block over there was a famous hostage situation involving some Black Panthers where they broke into a sporting goods store to steal rifles in the early 70s leading to the death of at least one NYPD cop. There was a documentary on that incident Lots of history at that intersection

The vast majority of the mob only wanted money and wanted to avoid ruining the community they worked in by flooding it with dope. Thugs have no morals.

Latasha Harlins (January 1, 1976 - March 16, 1991) was an African-American girl who was fatally shot at age 15 by Soon Ja Du (Korean: 두순자), a 49-year-old Korean-American convenience store owner. Du was tried and convicted of voluntary manslaughter over the killing of Harlins, based in part on security camera footage. The judge sentenced Du to 10 years in state prison but the sentence was suspended and the defendant was instead placed on five years' probation with 400 hours of community service and payment of $500 restitution, and Harlins' funeral costs.[2] The sentencing was widely regarded as an extremely light sentence, and a failed appeal[3] reportedly contributed to the 1992 Los Angeles riots, especially the targeting of Koreatown, Los Angeles, California.[4] The killing of Harlins came 13 days after the videotaped beating of Rodney King. Ya'll can't connect the dots on no level. Menace 2 society made fun of that little Black beatiful girl. Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood made fun of her too. Same thing goes for the movie Strapped. Na-meen. Ignorance is bliss. Whether it was indirectly. Or directly. Or Consciously or Subsconsciously. We the Black people are the biggest sellouts on Planet Earth. Now this fake comedy skit is doing the same thing making fun of that little girl. Let the little girl Soul Rest in peace man. Real talk. Ya'll bugged out.
