I need help my major is strategic Human resource management,what should i select for my further studies,which field is best for research in shrm?

Do you plan to do a PhD in an area or do you just want to work in the field? If you are looking for advanced work, I would recommend an MBA or a PHD in Business/HR because of the focus on the relationship between strategy and HR practices. I believe I/O Psychology would be good too but they are more focused on the psychology side and not as much on the strategy alignment. That area is very good at addressing the stats and relationship to solid measures to improve performance but if you want a strategic focus, I recommend further studies with an MBA or PHD to get the advanced research skills you are looking for that aligns with corporate strategy.

Strategic HRM is really how we make HR relevant to the bottom line of the company. Fundamentally if the HR function doesn't think strategically, it loses its relevance and is not taken seriously, nor will it be able to impact the company's strategy and bottom line. Everything we do in HR must align and support the company mission and strategic plan. If it doesn't align, it will work at odds with the company leaders and will become irrelevant. Does this make sense and answer your question?
