Very powerful insights on how strategy as a whole (formulation to implementation) goes wrong when we fail to acknowledge and leverage organizational culture; the role of culture, its hold on the process and need to redefine it in terms of relevance, various levels and types of people engagement thus tying implementation to formulation...……..very appropriate for the contemporary leader.

Regina Perkins nailed the topic for me from a mutually supportive strategic and cultural philosophy. What better way to get the needed buy-in than creating a practical, insightful approach that’s designed around building organizational trust, engagement and commitment. Her pull rather than push methodology is a sound practice in creating the mindset needed to influence the outcome by managing behaviors. Organizational engagement through organizational understanding and buy-in has to be intentional by positive attitudes. It is a very powerful point of view that adds to additional tools in one’s tool kit. Such thinking creates the compelling drive needed for organizational investment. Key is the involved role of leaders who lead the mindset, give examples of why it’s important and act as facilitators. I love Ms. Perkins’ insight and practicality.
