Nice reaction to Yamandu's outworldly skills! He's from a musician family from Southern Brasil, bordering Argentina, Paraguai, and started at 6 years old to play around. Samba pro rapha is his homage to his idol, the no less impressive Raphael Rabelo, who unfortunately has passed away when only 32 years old. Yamandu's execution and phrasing of his homage is intentionally similar to Raphael's playing style, which I was fortunate enough to see live some occasions. The samba aspect of it is the insane accentuation of the syncope with the bass notes, giving that 'jumping' sense between notes, like two guitars at the same time. Very cool tribute to his guitar idol. Kudos!
