Thanks to Nitin Gokhale for a very informative report on the situation in Myanmar. There are some questions, however, that need to be clarified: - If China has generally supported the Myanmar military junta, who arms the rebel militias? There are reports that many rebel groups, including the Kuki militias that created turmoil in Manipur, a few months ago, carried Chinese-made guns and ammunition. - Is China arming both the Myanmar military junta and the rebel militias and playing the role of the ‘puppeteer’ of the region? In fact, China has encouraged such groups, in the past, to carry out guerilla activities against India in the northeast. - It is reported that the rebel militias in Myanmar get their revenues from illegal drugs/narco trade and many other organized criminal activities? -Does India have any influence on the rebel groups, or are they pro Chinese? -if the Myanmar military junta is unable to curb the rebel groups effectively, will the Indian military intervene? We should allow Non-Rohingia Refugees to come in. But they should be kept in Main Land India and not in North East. Becuse keeping them in North East will couse ethnic tensions there. 2nd, We should allow them because if you ban them, they will still come because of porous border and Tribal Affinity of people on Indian sides. People on our sides will start giving them shelter, which will couse demographic imbalance and ethnic tensions. And also they will be undocumented, do it will be very difficult to trace and identity. Whereas by legally allowing them we can document them, and keep them out of North-East. Therefore keeping north east conflict free.

Many ethnic minorities have been fighting in insurgency for decades, since Junta tried to force their language. Now since coup, even the majority bamar people have joined in since Military Junta couped an elected popular govt.

1. Why Manipur is burning? Coz they want the tribal land for those extremists who have based in supporter of Myanmar junta fighting against people movement for democracy. 2. Why Manipur govt deployed of a meitei CO Assam Rifle in the border areas? Because those under the banner CorCOM separatist have no more options to die like an animal under the dirty hands of the Junta of Myanmar. 3. Why there was an attack on foot patrolling India army jawan along the border areas on 16th November? The PLA has claimed the attack on the jawan & this PLA is hands in gloves with Myanmar junta also China for the movement of independent from India. The reason is best known that the meitei CO of Assam rifle is being posted there with the help of Manipur govt to help those who want to come back to do the ethnic cleansing war done to those tribal people of Manipur. Most meitei are extremists in the pocket of the valley now & they are a threat to India security of the country....there are words written for independence & join PLA in many walls on the streets. Government of India must look into this before it's out of control.

I thought a significant section of Kuki-Zo are well armed and acts as extremists as they are the one who have signed SOO with the government of India as they do not pledge loyality to Indian constitution while almost all Meiteis are loyal to Indian constitution. Am I correct?

I think we need to put an asterisks after saying that the elections in Myanmar were "free and democratic". There was massive outside funding and interference from the United States and United States funded NGOs. We don't like other countries interfering in our elections, but it is our absolute right to interfere in other countries.
