Stratovarius is a well-known power metal band from Finland, they started in early 90s- late 80s. One of the founders of a band Timo Tolkki was a very skilled gitar player. Timo Kotipelto is a fantastic singer. Btw Timo and Tarja sang a song together its called Forever. Also I absolutely recommend you to try to listen songs like Visions and Destiny, and Elements.

Yeah, i too keep my symbals high (ecxept my ride and spalsh), so that overhead mices can be less sensotive and midicate mic bleed
