There are are a tremendous number of things that I appreciate about Angela’s playing, but one, of many, that stands out for me is how Angela rarely if ever looks at what her fingers are doing on either hand. She’s in the moment, and the moment is how the sound unfolds for her in real time. It’s like her ears are doing all the work, almost like she’s saying, “Yes, this sounds right so I’ll play this note, chord, harmonic, you name it next, and so on.” Angela’s fingers dance across the strings up and down the fretboard. Mine? It’s like I’m wearing hobnailed boots in comparison. Thank you Angela for breathing an otherworldly life into an incredible song that only gets better with each listen. You make “Strawberry Fields” sound heavenly, literally and figuratively.

I felt the same way about her almost never looking at the instrument. Maybe she's looking at sheet music, or do you think she has the notes memorized in her head? Still I very much enjoy her guitar playing. Very nice... ☺️

A little bit of background: I have been a BIG Beatles fan since I was 5 (1971). I am a Beatles "purist". My assumption, upon listening to a Beatles cover, is that it is going to suck. Except for a very few, I have not been wrong. In my mind, most are almost blasphemy..... With that in mind, your re-imaginings of this music that I love are things of ethereal beauty that just captivate me. You adapt the songs in a way that, both, pays homage to the original song writing/scoring and creates this independent work of auditory beauty. .... In case you haven't guessed, I am a fan of yours, now, as well.

WOW! Once again, a phenomenal performance. Johan Sebastian Bach meets the Beatles, or the other way around perhaps. Doing what Angela does on a 12-string guitar requires incredible technique, years of practice, and she even gives us a little smile when a hard part turned out absolutely perfect. Holy Mary, You are unbelievably GREAT!! Thank You SO much for giving us these magnificent performances of the old classics. ❤️👍👍👍👍👍❤️

Oh my! “Strawberry Fields” is one of my favorite Beatles songs. Your arrangement is extraordinary. Your chord voicings, use of harmonics, and tone are beautifully ethereal…like the song itself.

This is my favorite cover of this song immediatly. I have no idea how to describe it fairly, but the way it sounds makes me simultaneously think of "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds." Listebing to this causes me to feel a bit of what I do when listening to both songs. The bittersweet sulleness of "Strawberry Fields" with the more whimsical sounds you are using really casts the song in an unexpected direction that works. As I said, it's hard for me to put into coherent words, but your choices bring new life to this song that still honors the Beatles style but in an unexpected and amazing way! I can't be shocked at this point though! Keep up the great work as you always do! I'm glad I stumbled on your channel and look foreward to each upload! 💛
