protein mixes arent even good bro. if ur looking for a good source of protein just grab a can of Tuna its got 42 grams of protein. I personally get mine from costco the safecatch brand as it has the lowest mercury contents and is cheaper if u buy from there. You can have it with crackers, on bread, or make tunafix salad if you dont like it by itself. Its already seasoned so u shouldnt dump out any of the water just mix the chunks together

I am making it with my rigourously researched protein powder and FROZEN organic blueberries (and another MAPLE WALNUT batch...and a strawberry one too). So glad I did not buy storebought icecream (except the high caloric ZERO Calcium sulfate*¹ nor, I think Polysorbate 80, Magnesium Hydroxide, Potassium Sorbate and DEFINITELY no Mono-and Diglycerides. I wonder if a Donvier ice cream maker could be used.

What I like to do. I use half a cup of cottage cheese (I use fat free) and then one scoop of whey protein and I blend it. I then pour it into a container and leave it in the freezer till it's frozen. And then I toss it in the fridge until it becomes soft like ice cream. It's worked for me. 😅 But it may vary.

Unfortunately many people just have kids with no planning, forethought, or money to properly raise them. I understand exactly how you feel. My parents had 5 of us and could hardly put food on the table, so we went without a lot. I will never forgive my parents for birthing me and my siblings into poverty. It was a miserable existence. I refuse to birth kids into this world and hand them the same fate. Being poor sucks no matter how much people try to romanticize it.

To prevent ice crystals it is said to put it in the fridge until fully cold think 42* then transfer it to the freezer. Crystals form I believe because to freeze it from the state its in causes the crystals to happen. I read it in a food science book or something.

@@Incolere *a tiny bit. with a tiny bit of tang. but with the sweetener (extra stevia drops) & vanilla... oh & 1 tablespoon of vodka to prevent it from crystallizing (which it will after freezing) keeping it nice & soft & creamy, it takes any salty edge away. its there in the background a little... but salty & sweet is a great combo anyway! picture a salted caramel flavor. anyway its **_REALLY_** good!* *just did a chocolate/peanut butter flavor (using REAL peanut butter.. saved up the carbs for it) last night... off the chain!*

Make your own collagen from roasting beef bones then but in electric roaster and cook 24 hrs are more wont hurt. When there finished you can can it. Great collagen filled bone broth!

Just use non-fat plain Greek yogurt. Trust me, you WILL taste the cottage cheese. People that say they don't are lying or have no taste buds. Greek yogurt gives you a lot of protein, with no fat, and doesn't have a horrible taste when used as an ingredient

You are correct, I was like I make my own yogurt or if I am lazy I just buy Greek yogurt and it taste fine no extra protein powder is needed since Greek Yogurt is pretty high in protein already... however, i have use Cottage cheese if I make Cheesecake flavor or something like that... I do like the texture of cottage cheese more but I can see why people do not like the flavor

Yeah!! I saw the GOOD brand! I buy that brand in cottage cheese and sour cheese.! I really love the sour cream cause it is thick and creamy like cream cheese. I do use it as substitute for cream cheese for my bagal and taste a little bit like sour cream and cream cheese together. I was planning to substitute cream cheese and put the GOOD sour cream in my Tiramisu when I make it. I love that dessert, but when I make it , it always tastes different, but luckily its always good. My kids always let me know what they think. Why don't you try it and let me know how it works. Like I said I need to try it out in my Tiramisu.💛😊
