Honestly dubbing studios now should consider recording with scratched VHS tapes instead of modern equipment, this is insane stuff that was way ahead of its time 😂 (I can't even type this without cracking up so bad)

I loved this show as a kid, this was the version I grew up with 🤣. I feel like this song is meant to be really annoying but for so strange reason I love it and I think all the dubs are great and some of them are funny like just calling her Charlotte or Emily. I have this song stuck in my head in Castilian at the moment. Icelandic sounds like a VHS being rewinded or fast forwarded when the film strip inside had come lose. Yes I am that old 🤣

I did also have some pretty fond memories of this series when I was younger too. It felt as if they wanted to make the theme song annoying so that it was catchy enough for kids to remember, also so they can market products to them, which seemed to be a common practice in the United States at least from like the 80s and the 90s 😂 I don't understand why they changed her name so much in other languages tho, I'm guessing so it could rhyme better or something? It honestly beats me. And yes the Icelandic one is horrible, thankfully it isn't even real but like I was thinking how does one find such a terrible quality dub, let alone even listen to it 😂

Here’s my personal ranking: (There’s some unpopular opinions of mine that I have) Arabic - 9/10. It’s really good and the voice is so clear and lovely! The only thing wrong with it is that it’s slightly off-beat. And why does Arabic rap in their cartoon theme songs? But despite all of that, I love it a lot! Czech - 4/10. It’s really off-beat and that annoys me and the fact that the singer sounds quiet and also kinda yelling at same time. But it’s not that bad. Danish - 5/10. I don’t really care for this one all too much. I’m really picky with how on-key a song is and this song is kinda off-key but it’s not bad in any way, shape, or form. Dutch - 6/10. The voice sounds pretty nice but it’s a little bit off-key. Again, I’m very picky with how on-key the song is. But it’s good. English - 8/10. Omg my childhood I love it so much!! The only problems are that I hardly remember a thing but literally every character is so recognizable. The “buh buh buh” part is a bit weird and annoying. But yay I’m seeing childhood memories again! :) Finnish - 0/10. I’m so sorry but this needs to be said, the singer’s voice is really bad and she sounds like she’s eating while singing this. I feel like Finland has this thing with their versions of cartoon songs where either it’s really good or really screwed up. At least it isn’t off-key though, but still I hate this version, sorry! Canadian French - 8/10. Few people know this dub exists, it’s really good! Just add a little more passion into it and I’d give it a 10/10. French - 7/10. I love how they just gave her simple name as Charlotte instead Strawberry Shortcake. It’s really cute and I like it a lot! German - 10/10. Again, I love how they gave her the name Emily instead of Strawberry Shortcake. This is obviously the best Strawberry Shortcake from 2003 theme song. No competition. It’s sounds so energetic and fun! The chorus also slayed so fuckign muchhhh! The singer nailed it! Greek V1 - 9/10. Tbh I didn’t really like this one at first. I’ll admit the voice is a bit annoying. But it’s actually really catchy and I can really vibe to it. I love it! Greek V2 - 7/10. I actually prefer the first version over this one. This one’s not bad in any shape or form though, I actually like it quite a bit! A bit basic however, but it’s still very good! Hebrew - 6/10. The “tu tu tu tu tu teit” parts sound really weird but it’s still pretty good and some of the parts even sounded ANGELIC. But I prefer some others over this. It’s still very good and decent in every way though. Hungarian - 9/10. I really liked this one since I first heard it. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I actually really love this one! It’s so underrated! Italian - 10/10. Again, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I fuckign love it! The voice slays in every way and it’s so catchy too! Korean - 10/10. Omg it’s so cute and catchy! I loved this one since I first heard it! Everything about it is perfect! Norwegian - 9/10. I wasn’t the biggest fan of this one at first, but the chorus slayed in like every way possible. The part before the chorus sounded weird tho. But still, this one is super good! Fight me, I dare you. I’m kidding, I’ll handle your opinion if you don’t like this one. Polish - 7/10. The beginning sounds off-beat and I can’t really hear it. But everything else about this is great and really like it! Brazilian Portuguese - 1/10. I’m sorry, but I hate this one. It’s so fuckign annoying oml and it’s also kinda off-key. The singer should’ve done a better job no offense. European Portuguese - 5/10. The singer sounds really nervous but it’s not bad in any way possible. It’s decent and at least tolerable. Better than the Brazilian Portuguese one. Romanian - 3/10. I wanted to give this one a higher rating pretty badly. But it’s SO off-beat and the singer sounds like she’s yelling almost everything. But the good thing about it is that it’s catchy and I can kinda vibe to it. I’m still not that big about it. :( Serbian - 2/10. It’s pretty goddamn annoying. I really don’t like the singers voice because it’s easily reminds me of a gacha spoiled brat. The beginning and some parts of the song are off-tune and it’s also kinda off-key. The ending part of the song is good though and that saves it from me rating this any worse. Latin Spanish - 10/10. Probably another unpopular opinion but I fuckign love it! There’s literally nothing wrong with it. It’s perfect! Incredibly underrated! Castilian Spanish - 7/10. I prefer Latin Spanish over this but this one is still really good and cute. Swedish - 5/10. I don’t really have anything to say about this one except that it’s decent but I prefer some other songs more than this but this is not bad at all. Croatian - 8/10. It’s really good and catchy! The only problem is that it’s shortened. I wish there was a full version. If there was, I’m sure it would be great! Icelandic (LQ) - WTF/10. I’m sorry, but wtf IS THIS?! I literally have no idea what the voice is saying. Probably because of how fuckign low the quality is. Bulgarian (Voiceover) - -100/10. The voice overs are extremely low effort. It sounds like a grandma is voicing it. Also, I love how they’re so lazy and don’t even bother to make a dub out of this and just voice it over. That’s just so disappointing. I wish they made a dub out of this…

I have so many wonderful memories with this show I was wondering is the Korean dub fake or fan made? Because episodes of this version of strawberry shortcake impossible to find in Korean for some reason.

Honestly I'm thinking the Korean version could be fanmade, I don't know for sure but I've noticed there wasn't a Korean dub of the newer show (the 3D one from 2013) either so it's very possible this theme song was a fanmade version, and wow I haven't even realized this at the time

@@AsapToastyysDubs The only proof are the Korean letters on screen and the EBS Korean channel but I can’t even find it no sources to anything I’m hoping it is fake because I’ve still been working on finding dubs for the if glittered song multi language I apologize for taking so long but I’ve been trying to find as many dubs of the songs as possible and I was able to get them by Finding some of the some of the CDs in Europe For other languages because they aren’t found on KZbin but I found almost every dub imaginable for it finally Well except for Romanian and Hebrew they are either lost media or will never be or likely never dubbed the song so I might do fan dubs for the missing languages if possible
