For better or worse, Burak is exactly who he says he is. He never sabotaged anyone. Asli or not, he would’ve broken up with Cagla eventually anyway. It was an arranged relationship on the way to become an arranged marriage by their mothers. As is, he broke up with Cagla when he realized he has true feelings for Asli. Asli also didn’t get involved with him (the kiss in the backyard) until after she heard Burak break with Cagla.

As much as I love Burak, he is being very messy with trying to pursue Asli but still has Cagla on the sideline.
