So many sacrifices, all though the outsiders still got to see the Outside when we opened the roof. B12 never got to. I cried because he said he would come on the journey with me, and we made it so far and then he sacrificed. He was the only one who died. We saved clementine and Momo did not sacrifice so hard. because he lived easily. Yup, i definitely saw those computers at the end. and then i thought there has to be a sequel just like you. I agree.

I agree! B/12 was the only true sacrifice, but that’s what made me love B/12 even more. He was a human before he was a robot, his emotions as a human showed at the very end when it mattered the most. Hopefully he’s just living on in the system of the control room (:

I did not expect this game to make me so emotional. But the part when b12 said “You were my friend. The very best I could ask for.” made me start to tear up. And then when the cat curled up around b12, I just broke down.That scene and the scene where the robots watch the roof open conveyed so much emotion with no dialogue whatsoever. B12 died (or “died”) so that his stray cat friend could go back home. That cat was his first friend in who knows how long, which is what made their relationship so endearing. He died so the robots could finally see sunlight. He stuck by our side through the whole story, never giving up on us. In the end, it was like the cat was saying “thank you. You were my friend, too.” That just hit me really hard. Oh my god, I’m tearing up just writing this. It’s so cute.

B-12 was the only character died in the whole game. All the outsiders survived, you helped Seamus find his dad, you helped Morsque learn to play music, got plants for the gardener in Antvillage, helped the worker get their keys back, and helped other prisoners escape from the jail, all on top of opening the city. And yet it all came together to make the perfect ending

That is really short amount of time. Stray development started in 2015 so they made Stray for 7 years. But Stray 2 won't probably take that long since they could reuse Animations and models from Stray 1.

I only finished it this afternoon and, may I say, it was heartbreaking to see B-12 go, and if it is the case - that they are still alive - I would love a game where we can actually explore the outside world and reunite with B-12, and - possibly - take a deeper dive into Momo, Doc, Zbalatzabar, and Clementine's characters, you rarely ever took a chance to truly know them.

I have a theory. If you haven't played it yet, there will be a spoiler in my comment!!! If you don't plan on playing it, please do. After my playthrough, I feel like everyone is human. Every single robot has a concience until you reach the control room. I remember when I got one of the memories, B-12 mentioned uploading himself/herself to the system. Given that all the other bots have their own consciousness, it's safe to say they all did that to continue living once they all got sick. But in the process, due to data loss or forgetting over time, they had forgotten who they were when they were human. My main reasoning for this is because of how much they seem to respect humans. Especially in the slums. I really hope they make a sequel. It took me this long to actually get into the game and play it start to finish. Absolutely amazing story, but so many questions are still unanswered.

Yeah, I cried when B12 "died" because i thought he is dead, then I saw that something pops up at the screen from these things (idk what they are called) I think Stray 2 could be that story : We could start in a little cave, (like the Beginning of Stray) and the cat would have to go on a big journey to find his family or maybe other cats. And on his way, he finds a robot (that could be B12 in an other robot body) and that robot helps him on his way (we have to get villains too so maybe there could be robot villains or any other things, maybe dogs or anything?) And when we finished the game, they could do a mode, where you can explore the map, maybe walled city 99 too, and you maybe could make your own cat? Idk if the free running on the map is a good idea, but yeah Hope you think the stray 2 story would be a good idea

There is another theory, a dark one and more logic… the habitants are actually the humans transcending long time ago into robots (just like B12 they forgot their past), plus it can be seen a second capsule like the one B12 used for turn into a drone. However, the dark part is that the zurks are using the habitants for evolve and be invulnerable to the light (there is one habitant still alive kidnapped by the zurks and all those eyes what are? Is there a big brain somewhere too?) and now that the gates are open we can expect something bigger coming up…

My theory/theorys for Stray is that, in the end we all saw the screen flickering right? Well I think they might make a Stray 2 because the screen flicker was most likely to be a cliffhanger, *ORRR* my other theory is that they'll make a new chapter to Stray because another video explained the distances of where the stray travels and said that his home and group (the other cats in the beginning very beginning) is just 20 ft to the roght where the cat ends up heading right before the screen flickerd, so I think that they'll make an decision to take his group back intk the Slums to meet the robots (Momo, Doc, Gaurdian, Seamus, others) and they end up living in Slums with the robots, or the decision is that there is a free roam option so that you cam go anywhere that you want to and explore more! I really hope there is a Stray 2 or my second theroy about leading his group back to the Slums or have a free roam option happens, we need more since the game takes about 5 or more hours. My first run through I took 6 hours to finish the game, and in my second playthrough I took 3 hours since I knew what to do and where to go that time.

What if it's the zurk using the flickering screen? Remember when we saw the robot in the zurk underground thing? He wasn't dead, so maybe the zurk are trying to learn about the robots and how they work from that robot. You see, we couldn't defeat the eye zurk with the light. So, maybe the little zurk are trying to become more powerful and trying to connect with the network. Plus, they're trying to overcome the sun. And we did exactly that when we showed the sun.

There’s also speculation that there are multiple walled cities; cities that could still harbor human life even after millions of years and we, along with b12 and the companions, would have to go around and help the other cities escape.
