A visual novel with choices: yes. Boring as shit? Eh that’s entirely subjective.

It depends on what you're looking for when you play games. If you want to move through the world, engaging in combat and solving puzzles, then the game doesn't provide that satisfaction. But it isn't designed to, and it doesn't promise that. If, however, you're looking to get immersed in an interactive story, where you can guide the outcome, then the game does provide that kind of satisfaction. I kind of want some degree of both when I play a game, but I still really enjoyed Stray Gods for what it is.

@@vandahm Yep, well-said! I'll also add: I know that this kind of content isn't what most people subscribe for; they're hear for Assassin's Creed stuff, and that is fine. For me personally I am trying to get better at thinking and writing about games so making this video is part my personal learning journey.
