This feels like a very natural progression for stray kids to me. Like it's subtly different than their other title tracks but I can see how they have grown to do something like this. I definitely want to see a full shot of that choreo it looks so interesting.

@@anthonytoo I completely forgot to mention the choreo (wow so many twisting hands 😳) and the stylist should be able to afford a whole estate by now based on how much their pay gets raised (i hope). Also,, Chan, 😳 beautiful human being that he is, looks so great in all these crop tops (pray they never end, as long as he's confortable in them, of course) And don't even get me started on the crown shape 😭 the hair clips make on Hyunjinnie's hair, like i genuinely thought they put a crown on his head for the teaser and accepted it until i rewatched it

Stray Kids are so hard 😭the way Changbin came in was like a slap in the face, and all of the fits were ✨phenomenally murderous✨😃just the overall artistic level of the entire project. From the song, to the video, to the choreography, down to every single member. Stray kids are an eternal force to be reckoned with.

this actually isnt the first time that stray kids have worn a mix of traditional clothing and modern clothing! they did it during the gods menu and back door eras, you should def keep an eye out for the outfits they wore during their stages in those times and you'll see what i'm talking about!! it's really cool

Bruh this was like the best way to send me back to lame as classes on campus, a full skz album listen on the way there😂 but the move with them doing the mouth laughing had me rolling that was so slick. And this was not your typical transitional Korean culture infused song. It sounded so different. man these men were right when they said only skz can do something like this. It feels like a hodge podge of "this is who we are" and we don't care if you like it - the Korean cultural elements (visuals, instrumental), the comic book/cartoon/game bits (they have talked about their love of comic books, games, anime, etc and have even done music for anime), the "noise" and swagger. Makes me love them even more for doing their own thing.

I always love your ops on stray kids, you really try to understand their journey. And to give you a lil info behind their concept, noeasy it’s a pun, a mix of the words “no easy” and “noisy”, no easy because they ain’t playing games with their artistry/music, and noisy because antis tend to say a lot of things like that to their music, “that’s pure noise” “construction music” “transformers music”, etc, they saw that us stays were taking those comments as compliments and we made a lot of inside jokes about it, so they decided to do the same thing, by making an album that it’s “more noisy than ever”, as chan said. On the chorus they’re saying “sorikkun” and it actually has a dual meaning of 잔소리꾼 (‘jan-sorikkun’ aka nagging person) and 소리꾼 (‘sorikkun’ aka singer). they also claim themselves as “experts in sound/songs”, so if you read the lyrics you might get the idea of what they’re trying to portray with all this. 7:34 i noticed that throughout gods menu, back door, and now thunderous, their stylists have been creating modern hanbok outfits. either utilizing the top portion on the hanbok, the tassels, or the outer jacket part (i apologize for not knowing the exact terms) i think it’s becoming a more popular style trend not only within idol stage outfits, but also in modern fashion. i distinctly remember ateez also sometimes utilizes this style in their stage outfits. tbh i really *really* like how it looks. it looks very luxurious, expensive, and royal, while also allowing more creativity depending on how you style the rest of your outfit to that piece. e.g. stray kids manages to look elegant and so cool at the same time, meshing the modern hanbok with streetwear style pieces. i think it’s also a nice touch because it’s on brand with their implementation of traditional korean culture in the song and mv itself.

Thunderstorm is a metaphor to express SoriKkun. Sori = sounds, Kkun means the people who are super talented. In this case, they are saying we are super talented at making sounds and you all will be shocked just like you are hearing a thunderstorm. and that is not a temple but a castle.

I can see how Thunderous can be sonically linked to God's Menu and Back Door but I think it's maybe because of the distinct style Stray Kids have. They always had it but they are growing artistically and I feel like they have more and more their own sound. But that's not all, it's like they mixed God's Menu sonic impact with Back Door musical complexity but made it even better and more complex. All of this adding Korean traditional instruments and more artistic maturity.

1:35 they used a lot of traditional korean instruments in this song, so my assumption is that the sound you mentioned is some type of flute of woodwind instrument you can hear the instruments very prominently in the chorus as well

This song makes me feel like I should be in the middle of a fight scene and I love it😭😭😭 The album is so damn good, and I must say they really outdid themselves with the b-sides, I was blown away. @@anthonytoo they're traditional lion costume used in celebration I've also seen then used during Chinese new year but the costume is a form of traditional dance in Chinese culture and other Asian countries in which performers mimic a lion's movements in a lion costume to bring good luck and fortune I'm not Chinese so sorry if anything is wrong ❤️
