I always knew Stray kids tell stories with their songs but I could have never imagined it to this extent. I love dat behind d aesthetics and cinematography there’s a deeper meaning. Especially with the l’évanter series, the books movies, poems and folklores, the connectivity of it all is just mind blowing. I love it, absolutely love it. It allows me to see straykids and their staff in another light. Like it’s not all fun and love stories but alternate dimensions and realities. I don’t think any other kpop artist has ever portrayed such stories. Amazing. Thank u stray kids, thank u Book theories, ur efforts are thoroughly appreciated.

I'm glad that there are youths who still uphold the tradition. Here are some points why this mv is kinda related to my culture (Indonesian) other than Korean: 1. "Jutdae" is equivalent to "pakem" which means "principles" in Javanese language, usually applied in dancing. Stray Kids choreographies have their own principles. As artists, they have their own set of morals that are different from society. 2. Dokkaebi is kinda similar to tuyul, minus the horns. Tuyul is a ghost that takes shape as a child (usually boy) with shaved head. Like dokkaebi, tuyul is a trickster being, however they don't protect humans from evil. Summoning a tuyul requires a shaman, so Stray Kids might be the tuyul that tricks the naggers/haters. 3. Sajanoreum or sajachum, the lion dance is pretty similar to barongsai, a traditional dance introduced by Chinese diasporas in Indonesia. There are also tari barong from Bali and Reog Ponorogo from East Java

Speaking of storms, there's one also in "The Sound" music video. There's a tornado storm in that music video. There's also thunder and lightning. Also, the lion in the "lion dance' part reminded me of Miroh, there are lions in the music video too.

I'm so curious to see if any of their subunit MVs will fit into this skz storyline...probably not but who knows. I'm still curious about I.n 🤔 in the trailer he seemed to be the only one aware of the time warp/ struck in alternate worlds thing. And it's been like that in their other MVs too. I tried finding hints in the Thunderous era but couldn't find any. Some members are wearing outfits similar to those from the back door MV tho with the hanbok and western clothing fusion

In what order do you watch the music videos to see the whole concept in there videos?

I think going in chronological order is probably the best bet 🤔 the comeback trailers definitely expand on the lore so check them out too! From the beginning to Levanter the story is pretty much linear, after that they get a bit more experimental with the concepts but it’s still all connected! They also have a “side storyline” starting from Mixtape: On track! That one continues through B Me, Mixtape: Oh and the View and that’s independent from the “main” storyline. Hope it helps 🤗 SKZ put out a lot of content and it can get confusing but it’s all very cool!!
