I think Felix and SKZ in general will finally be a catalyst for change in the industry! I have followed kpop for over 15 years and was always appalled at the treatment of children, most trainees are very young when they start, in the industry. Then before their brains are fully matured (age 22-23) they are forced into contracts they have no understanding of! In 2009 there was a big scandal; with SM and TVXQ as 3 members fought to get out of their "slave contracts" which was the term given at that time! Hopefully, all this brings attention and a much-needed change to Korean popular music and how the trainees are inducted into a life they are not fully aware of the difficulties involved!
