@@BriefBrainSnacks you have a lot of support out here and both 'channels' of content are appreciated. I think the political content lends itself really well to regularly, planned Live chats so we hope you find time/strength to set that up whilst you recover.

"Before I go on with this short history, let me make a general observation- the test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function. One should, for example, be able to see that things are hopeless and yet be determined to make them otherwise. This philosophy fitted on to my early adult life, when I saw the improbable, the implausible, often the 'impossible,' come true." I've long-since become pessimistic politically. Of course the powers that be will do everything in their power to rig the game. But I still do what I can to change that. Because why not? What else am I going to do with me life? Things do tend to change and become better over time. Just not as quickly as we like or what is right. On another note, It is too bad that so many sad sack losers are also highly dangerous.

It may very well be that due to the hours I was putting into being “boots on the ground” politically and getting extremely ill from that, I am experiencing, not only extreme disappointment & political loss, but also burnout. I completely understand what you’re saying, and it’s very easy to have several emotions conflicting with each other, which is certainly what I’m experiencing, but the negative feelings are overtaking the positive. Maybe it’ll become more balanced over time. Thanks for your input and I think you’ve made an excellent point about it being ok to feel conflicting things simultaneously.

@@BriefBrainSnacks I know it doesn't feel like it sometimes (often?) But the world does need people like you. And the movement needs a voice like yours. Of course you should put your own needs first, but nothing you done has been a waste, even if it feels like it. Just 10 years ago, people would look at me as if I were some space alien when I would talk about things like police reform/abolition, universal healthcare and general leftism. Now there are millions of people on our side. People like you are responsible for that.

'Where are all the good apples?' It's important to remember how the rest of the saying goes: a few bad apples SPOIL THE BUNCH.

LucivarDiablo lol, someone just explained this to me before I saw this comment. Thank you, but don’t feel obligated. I do videos like these because I wanna chat with y’all, not for the algorithm.

4:40 the more engaged people (online or in person) were less likely to be in support of Biden by huge margins.

That really doesn’t surprise me. It’s weird though. Most people voting in a primary are politically active, or at least keep up with what’s been going on. Weird how they all suddenly became Biden voters, isn’t it?

fiona fiona some. Can’t say a lot, but certainly there are some people voting who’ve experienced this.

Thanks. I’ve already been sick from this particular strain, and it’s unclear as to if people can become reinfected. I wear a mask if I leave the house, but I wouldn’t advice anyone with a preexisting to run the risk of being out with crowds. Some are willing to take the risk to fight to justice. I believe that the fight can be waged at home, while others who have no indication of having complications or have no loved ones who do, pick up the mantle.
