This was pretty cool! Never thought to do a career mode. But, I just might now. Also, MSFS 2024 is a whole new sim. That's why when the creators got the blowback, they stated how they'll support MSFS 2020 for the next 10 years. It's a basic stab to all of us that invested so much into MSFS 2020. I look forward to the new one though. Mainly because they said they've hit their limits with MSFS 2020. So, very curious to see what new level they've gotten to.

I don't mind that they're releasing another sim - especially since they've said that all our aircraft will be compatible with MSFS 2024, and that MSFS 2020 will continue to function, so we aren't forced to get 2024. Paying for the Premium edition of 2020 over 3 years ago has turned out to be an incredible value for me, since I've easily used it for 1000+ hours at this point. I'm happy to give them more money :-) I do hope the "career mode" activities they showed off in the trailer are more than just a limited pack of activities though. I hope it's something more advanced like we get in APL, OnAir, and NeoFly - generated missions/jobs in different categories based on a home/base airport. That and... I really want a native shared-cockpit feature, so you can load into the same plane with friends, as a co-pilot or even just a passenger.

Welcome back! Yeah, default ATC was ruining too many of my approaches. I have really been enjoying pilot2atc once I changed to it 4-5 months ago. It with ATC-chatter is a great combo. You're in for a treat then. There have been massive improvements to the G1000, G3000/5000, GNS 530 and 430, the CJ4's PL21, and most recently the 747 and 787 avionics. Have fun :-)

How did you get the bravo to do 100ft increments? Mine goes 1000ft and it’s pretty useless for GA aircraft.

I have the Bravo AP knob (the one that's physically labelled "DECR" and "INCR" on the Bravo) bound to the defaults of "MINUS" and "PLUS" in the MSFS controller settings. Mattering the plane, sometimes it does have some "acceleration" as you're turning it -- it will start in 100 FT increments but then speed up to doing 1000 FT increments. In those cases, you have to stop turning it for a moment before resuming so it will reset back to 100 FT increments. The same goes for turning a heading or course knob. Hope that helps.
