Hi there! I am Joseph.
I have been an immigrant / expat living in central Portugal along with my beautiful girlfriend Mariana for eight years now.
Together Mariana and I, would like to show you a bit of the daily goings on around our Portuguese farm / homestead / smallholding and all of the work we are doing whilst renovating, starting building projects, working with our livestock, DIY and trying to grow our little families own food!

Nice farm, is it possible to put in more windows and would that require a project and/or additional approvals? Also, is it possible to build a garage/barn/storage on the land?

Hi there, additional windows etc is definitely possible, does require an architect though. Construction of an agricultural support structure can be added to the land up to 50m2 I believe!

I watch some British vlogs who are living now in Portugal and one of their problem is the school where their children will go to. their having problem with their children mixing with Portuguese at school. I say let them be Portuguese that's why you left the uk.
