Ah I might be because I was screen capturing the remote play on my 4K monitor. Remember it's a screen capture, so it will only display at your screen's resolution. And of course the quality of the remote play depends on your internet speeds and wifi quality.

Thanks! Yep you can use Twitch with this method as well. You don't have to stream publicly on those platforms but you do need to stream from your console to them to make it work.

Yeah that's all gonna depend on your internet speed or your computer's graphical capabilities. This is a very loose way to stream and I dont recommend it for the long term.

The two mic system just allows you to be able to mute your party mic so you can just talk to your stream, but if that's not a concern then you can just plug into the PS5.

Good question! The best way to get rid of background noise is to literally get rid of the background noise 😅 but if you can’t, then there are ways to set up noise gates in your mic settings so that only loud sounds like your voice gets picked up. Damn. Do you have your 2-step verification turned on? If you don’t have that set that might be it. Otherwise I’m not sure what’s going on. To turn on 2-step verification: Go to your setting by clicking your profile pic in the top right, then scroll down to settings. Then on that page, go to “view your Google account” at the bottom under “your account” Once on the Google account, go to security on the left menu bar, and you should see 2-step verification under “signing in to google”. Make sure that’s turned on.

Great video btw. I did everything you said and got my youtube and facebook stream going but it keeps saying the bitrate is too high and automatically ending the live video of facebook. Hey Darius! Yep so for Facebook I believe the max bitrate you can stream to it is 4000kbps. You can change your bitrate in OBS by going to your setting, then clicking on output, then making sure your bitrate is 4000 or less. Generally you want your bitrate to be no more than half your internet upload speeds so if your upload speed is like 9mbps, your max bitrate should be no more than 4500kbps. In facebook’s case, they don’t like you streaming more than 4000kbps, but KZbin you can go up to like 15,000 or something like that. Hope this helps! 💪🏾

Oh dang you’re right! Got the videos mixed up lol. It is weird it’s telling you your bitrate is too high. Everything should be in browser and your stream show be automatically controlled by FB via the screen share. Honestly you got me stumped. Hmm Seems like a copyright issue. Could be because you had music playing either in your stream or from the game that got struck. I would try to dispute it with FB. Usually they will allow it to play if you select it's not copyright.

Good question! I currently I don’t think there is a way to do this same method with an iPad. Seems you can only go live with the camera with IOS. Now if you can go live and screen capture you iPad screen and stream that from the iPad, that could work but I’m not sure how to do that at the moment.

Yo! So you’re saying there’s lag between your controller and your game? Not sure what you mean but you shouldn’t use the stream to play the game. You just play the game on your tv like usual and have you laptop or computer re-streaming the KZbin/Twitch stream to Facebook Gaming. Facebook isn't even an option under all active apps, and when trying to share a ps5 gameplay video only KZbin is a option. And If I stream only under Broadcast you can pick just KZbin or Twitch. Wtf? Yo! So you can’t upload video/share video recording to your Facebook page from your PlayStation directly. They only way is to have an external hard drive (like a usb hard drive) connect it to your PS5 and download your saved recording onto it. Then upload that to your Facebook page using your computer. @@TheInvisibleTraveler Yeah so for the PS4 and 5 you have to use the PS Camera to add a camera to the stream. Other webcams won't work unfortunately

Appreciate the video man it helped me get started on facebook gaming without the capture card. Does this method work if you use a PS5 camera ?

Yep! It should work with the PS5 camera. That’s the only way to get a webcam when streaming from a PlayStation.

@@DatSamurai so when I try to start the stream and share screen the Facebook gaming page shows my laptop camera and not the ps5 camera plus no gameplay. When I go to my KZbin page it does not show the stream from my ps5 even when I start the broadcast. Any ideas for me to look into ?

Yeah, make sure on your PS5 that you are connected to the right YT account. You have to be playing a game to start the broadcast so make sure a game is running before you start. On Facebook, when you select webcam for the video source, make sure you click the “Start Screen Share” option so it shares your screen. I show how to do it in the video too for reference.

No when you share screens you’re just saying you computer screen. YT and FB don’t need to be connected. You do have to give FB permission to record/share your screen to them. If you’re using Chrome, you can find the option on the right side of the address bar

I know right. Unfortunately if you don’t have a capture card, these are the only work around I’ve come to figure out. I always say though, I don’t recommend streaming these ways. If you can, just get an Elgato HD60S or X and call it a day. You’ll be so much better off.
