If your friends are on the same platform they may need to allow their voices to be shared, if they are on another platform you can only hear them in game chat. Keep in mind that if you only talk to your friends then your chat is going to feel alienated. Thanks for watching!

I've heard some people are having this issue and some aren't. That tells me that it may be an internet service provider issue. Be sure to keep and eye on not just your download speed but also your upload speed.

I watched the whole video thank you I learned a few things I didn't know. I do have a question which is why does my twitch looks so washed-out when I am streaming from the Xbox as opposed to when I'm streaming from streamlabs on the laptop using to capture card. Thanks followed the instructions and even managed to have it upload my stream to ‘past streams’ however upon watching it back it was appearing over exposed compared to what I was watching while gaming. It maybe due to HDR on in the game settings itself or Xbox settings so guessing it doesn’t record HDR therefore the stream looked overly bright and misty. So do I need to literally turn off HDR on the console and or in the game itself or even lower Xbox from 4K to 1080p.? (Use massive 4K HDR etc TV hence Xbox set up as so but may not be ideal for streaming)

I have the same problem. You can fix it by unplugging your headset (assuming yours has a built in mic) from the controller and plugging it back in. Strangely enough this works... But it often crashes your stream. Console only streaming is just stress to be honest. It's all a guessing game cos u can't even do a test stream without going live which I think is ridiculous! Xbox should have had a special stream app which allows u to customise stuff alot better and test things before going live!

This was a common problem on Xbox One Twitch streaming top and wow what a gd bummer it persists in the next generation of consoles... it apparently has to be the Twitch app, so people need to put more pressure on Twitch itself to fix this. My solution on my One S, it sometimes lasts, sometimes it doesn't. Start the game, start Twitch, start stream, UNPLUG mic for a moment (45 secs to a min)... plug in. This corrects it.. but sometimes the lag may come back. I have my viewers keep track for me. Repeat the unplugging.

Hello! Great video! Technical question. I can get my streams to work pretty well from my XBSX but when I go to the twitch site to download the video file, I get a corrupted file. Even though I can watch my stream just fine. This was never an issue when I streamed from my Xbox one, it always downloaded fine. Have you experienced this? How would you problem solve? It’s a known bug and this video doesn’t give you a workaround. Apparently, if you disable HDR it fixes it at the loss of HDR. HDR on my LG CX OLED is just too damn good to turn off and because of this I won’t be streaming until they fix the bug.. I so wish Xbox had KZbin streaming!

If your are on console you have to use the PlayStation or Xbox camera for whichever console you are using. Capture cards generally offer more options for overlays etc.

Sometimes your party members will need to adjust their privacy settings so that their voices can be shared. Something to look into at least.

At least it works for me when I try to stream bf4. If I use 6500 it crashes because at the first try it runs the stream at 480p but the quality video is actually 1080p which means it glitches. I streamed today at 6400 and it worked for +4h. Check it on twitch if you want. Twitch.tv/ifz5

@@JoelsterG4k yeah It works on xbox one x and old gen because they run the games at 1080p max. On ps5 any game you stream is running at 1080p 60 fps, on xsx twitch is glitched. You got only a black screen streaming. Listen to me. Open the game, start twitch then .... on bitrate (click on automatic) and then start the stream. You should get 6500 and the stream should be running glitched. Then wait 2 min and stop the stream and put the bitrate to 6300 if it is still glitched change it to 6400 after 2 mins

I was looking for information like what camera to use or options to replace the loss of the Kinect... I wish I could still have the option to download an app or something to allow for the kinect to be compatible as a Webcam. I mean you can use it on PC as camera, sorry for the rant 😅 it's just annoying cause I have 2 of the kinects and already could stream no problems till the new console...

When someone is in your party chat, there is a dialog box that appears on *their* dashboard under party chat that they can toggle to include *their* audio in *your* stream. Hope this helps. Also, don't forget to turn on party chat volume on the Twitch App on your Xbox.

The issue I'm having is that I can't get streaming audio through my headset, same thing with using discord (I know about using the new discord to xbox party chat thing but the quality is weird).
