Fly fishing with streamers in high water. Russ Maddin and Alex Lafkas get out for a short float after a massive rain storm. Throwing streamers for brown trout in high water can be an effective technique regardless of the time of year. This was a mid summer rain event that had some brown trout on the move. Those were northfork composite blanks that mark at slow roll rods wrapped for him. Pat at mags custom rods can also potentially do something for you. He's using 8 and 9wt for the bass stuff
