Did you notice a hiss on the headphones with the Streamer X? No review seems to mention it, but a lot of people complain about it online and I had the same issue. As soon as it's powered on, there was an insane hiss on all my headphones / IEMs, with nothing but power connected. Sadly, the same is true for my Rodecaster Duo though much quieter. Tried unplugging everything but power, different low to high impedance headphones, muting all inputs, swapping powersupplys, different power outlet with nothing else connected. Drives me crazy. Only thing that helps is using a noise isolator.

Great information. Looks like the master compeller and output delay aren't option when running on PC.

Have you experienced any latency/sync issue between XLR mic and HDMI on the Streamer X? I saw another KZbinr using this setup with a Panasonic S5, and he had to add a software that introduced latency to the mic audio to sync with the video stream.

Is there a particular lesson that I should reference for settings for my Rode Wireless Pros and the Streamer X? It seems that I have to connect the transmitter to my laptop instead of directly to the streamer x to get both mics to connect to Unify.

Would it work to connect the receiver for your wireless system through the XLR port as a line-in (3.5 to XLR adapter)? Won’t come through as separate channels, I assume.

Excellent video tutorial, one of the best on youtube on this subject. What program or software you were using for graph animations?

add a noise suppresor or noise gate in obs

The noise gate in the Rodecaster can cut out the keyboard noise while you are not talking... think of it as a literal gate opening and closing to let the sound through. The particular parameter to note here is 'Range' which is how much the gate is shutting when you are not speaking. Setting this to 100.0dB will mean it is completely shut and now sound gets through while you are not talking. In terms of removing keyboard clicks while you are talking, the Rodecaster can not do that, but you could pass your mic audio through something like 'Krisp' (krisp.ai/) which would remove everything except your voice, however if you are adding other things into your mix, you would need to route your mic into your computer through Krisp and then back into your Rodecaster, so it gets a little tricky!
