Another way to save money is to pay for the year upfront. It can reduce the overall bill 30-40%. Where available, of course.
@Spladoinkal Жыл бұрын
If you are a binge watcher, rather than pay for a year of a service, pick one show at a time and ONLY sub to the service it's on. You pay a little more for the service that way but you aren't paying for multiple services at once so you can save a ton of money if you like multiple platforms.

If you just want a free trial or to churn a service, just cancel immediately. You'll still have the service for the length of the trial or the month that you paid... it'll just be set to cancel instead of bill at the next billing date. Heck, cancel everything immediately. Worst case scenario, you end up resubscribing and paying for the services you use.

So my wife and I are binge watchers when we get into something. It works out for us because we pick a show to watch, find out what platform it's on and sub to ONLY that platform until we finish that show, then unsubscribe and move to whichever platform our next show is on. Bonus points though if it's Amazon Prime Video because we use prime for shipping for our businesses so that's the ONE service we stay subbed to.

If you treat your time like a precious resource, just as you do with your money, DVDs can be a fantastic choice. Streaming services often lure you into endless hours of binge-watching. However, by selecting 3-5 top-quality DVDs from the library each month, you can have a clear idea of the time you'll spend on entertainment. Plus, libraries typically offer these services free of charge, making it both an engaging and cost-effective option.
