My prediction for the kalosian starters is serperior, cinderace, and empoleon, their typing might be grass /fairy, fire /electric, and for empoleon even though I was thinking water/ fighting for empoleon, I actually see water ice as a better option

Jack I LOVE your Kalosian Meganium! The upgrade Meganium needs I agree with the notes John made as your really helped make it understood that quadruped starters HAVE MERIT in sharing personality and even anthropomorphic qualities. Grass Fairy is also a typing that fits well with Meganium

These all rule so hard!!! Especially love to see Ron trying a new style, the chunky lines and textured coloring are lovely. I also love the detail that kalosian cyclizar is aggressive and intimidating because of the giant dewlap wheel. The dewlap wheels are my favorite part of the gen 9 legendary lizards and I love seeing people draw in the biological basis for them

XD That Pidove design, the way it's standing, it's reminding me of this one parrot that has a funny kind of walk! The one where it looks like it's marching instead of walking or hopping, like in one of the videos! Pretty sure anybody that saw that video knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about! Also, I thought that Subjectively got the color idea for Vespiquen from the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, with the red colors and the design, the fluff on it's head giving it a "Bigger head" look. Like how the Queen of Hearts was drawn in both Lewis Carrol's book and the Walt Disney movie.

I genuinely ADORE Ron's new artstyle. It's very reminiscent of the watercolor artwork of gens 1 and 2 but also has a very modern feel to the rendering. I feel like this style works really well for more original creature designs. I would love to see some Ron originals like this! Each and every single design was brilliantly done! My favorites are easily Kalosian Cinderace which fixed the massive issues I had with its Galarian form's lame design and broken stat distribution, Cyclizar whose design is absolutely hilarious, Pidove which I love and desperately want to see evolve, and Meganium for taking its design and personality in a cool new direction! I've really been enjoying Ron showcasing this new art style more and more too.

I can't say I agree with NOT adding a second typing for Cinderace's regional evo but the design is definitely FIRE. Pun intended. But Kalosian Empoleon is INCREDIBLE. Yes, I agree with Scorbunny and Piplup being THE starters. Some crazy ideas here. VERG'S ARE AMAZING!! I'm sad no one tackled the regional Serperior. But the shiny regional Meganium is more the color I see as the normal color.

Cinderace: I love the ears. I really like that I can look at this guy and go "Oh! It's Cinderace!" Flipping the colors gives it a cool twist on the usual design, and the new helmet is less silly. A+. Empoleon: Ok, I see it. It's definitely a bigger divergence than Cinderace, almost feeling like an alt.evo, but I do like it. Flipping the decal and making the claws pauldrons are great touches. Ludicolo: Seeing them side-by-side really helps. The drooping hat with the flower really makes it feel so different, but that's the only major change aside colors. Great minimalist design. Cyclizar: This one threw me for a loop. It felt like there were a LOT of new details until I realized they were Koraidon's. Cool seeing Ron take advantage of a unique opportunity like this. Pidove: He so fluffy! And that's actually a really interesting way of being able to shift the proportions of a variant. It looks very different at first, but then you see all the patterns line up. Hydreigon: Turning the dragon into a cerberus is very inspired. Also, the tail being based on the wings is very cute. Druddigon: This one has a lot more proportional shifts and tweaks to it. It feels more like a redesign or convergent than it does a variant. Still cool, though. Vespiquen: Same body, but we layered fluff and confections on top of it; a good way to change design elements without altering the base. I like that I recognize elements from other bees. Meganium: This is an instance where there are not a lot of changes, but they're very bold and in the right locations to make a big impact. It works very well. Also, Vergo freaking about about dinosaurs was very cute. That made me smile.

I love how in Cinderace, all the red and blue parts were inverted on this new design! It's a really neat detail and really fits the theme of both versions being on the same team but in different positions! Big +1 for Rons new art style! So awesome. I always felt personally his more traditional Pokemon art style didnt quiiiiite look like legit Pokemon. I think something about the eyes, but they weren't ever quite dynamic enough either. (this is from a terrible artist, I know I couldn't do any better, just an opinion) This new art style is super unique and dynamic, but also still works to present fakemon (especially for these Legends style games too)

*Kicks open door politely* What did I miss? The three guys was so funny for no reason. Lop eared Cinderace is my favorite (I love its G-max form). I love Kalosian and the reason for the ears being that way is genius. I love the shiny too (100% I would caught this thing if it was real) I do love Empoleon they're cool and kinda underrated, it's nice to see it get attention (and the type combo it deserves). I like how the pattern is flipped. It has a gun. Penguin gun. Amazing shiny again. (I wouldn't be too surprised. The love for the water type starters seems more diverse compared to the others) Ludicolo's color scheme is so pretty. The cool colors are very chilly which is very fitting for a dark type. I want to give him a hug and a pack of stickers. (Idk what's the funniest option? Maybe you give it a single friendship reducing item before leveling up?) Beef cake Cyclizar caught me off guard. Big fren :] He looks like he'd just punch you in combat and I find that hilarious. (I'm not good with statistics) Kalosian Pidove is so poomf. It's perfection. Regional fake Deino is amazing already love. The goodest Cerberus. Goodest boy. I'm going to cry it's so cute!! The harness pattern from the treads is genius. Prebby shiny. (Yes without hesitation) That Druddigon is so metal! It looks a lot cooler then the actual Druddigon. FORM?! It's friend shaped. In a probably have to fight you to the near death before hand kinda way. The shiny is pretty. (Stone, I just think it looks cooler in that gargoyle state) Vespiquen is cool but hard to draw so I don't associate with her. She's bougie! and fluffy perfection! She looks so polite. The shiny reminds me of Whirlipede and Scoliopede 😊 (I love when the different forms have differing personalities, I think it adds to the world in universe and I just think it's neat) Smug horse lizard will beat to you to death with its head vines. Again very pretty colors. The flower it so good it hurts to look at. Cute. The flower is such a pleasant pink it the shiny, I love it with how soft the colors are it's surprisingly fitting for such a diva like pokemon. (No I just don't like Chikorita)

Fun fact, fans are pretty sure that the starter Pokemon for ZA were revealed through the Pokemon TGC. One of their recent card packs has the trio of Litten, Turtwig, and Totodile on them, which is especially notable since the starters for Legends Arceus were pre-revealed the same way... Edit: what i find really fun about this that all three of these starters are my favorite starters of those generations... which is fun because in Arcues they were all my second favorites of their generation...

Cunine - Deuxggo - Troisberus, are my suggestions. XD That thrid one is super hard to find something that sounds cool though. I love that Ron is trying something new; always good for an artist to try different things, and if finding his own style means it being non-Sugimori-esque, then good on him! These are great designs all in all! The regional Meganium is definitely one of my favourites.

I'd love to see empoleon with the ice head ability. I enjoyed seeing Ron branch out. I think it's healthy to try out different styles. I hope you all keep working on your art and improving! (Love the fakemon too!) I'd name the cyclizar "Big Wheel" Pidove is perfect. I'd love to see the new design's evolutions too. Both druddigons are better than the original. Kalosian Cinderace actually does sell me on Cinderace a LOT more than regular so great job. Only thing missing is a new move haha. Imagine like fiery return, protect that blocks special moves and returns some dmg Like a special spiky shield

The Cerberus/convergent Hydreigon should take it’s name from Kerberos: Kerdreios. A bit silly, but it keeps the Drei from Hydreigon. Also, love the Vespiquen, Druddigon, and Meganium designs so very very much!

Honestly love all of these! I actually like this Cinderace better than the original i think, it has more personality. Empoleon looks great, Istill like the orignal a bit more but the watercannon idea is great. Ludicolo looks great, the change in art style looks really good (love the line gradient). I could see it evolving by like...being in the swamp during a rainstorm while playing a sad music box? XD Something that makes it more pessimistic than the festive music. This cyclizar seems a lot more fun to ride around on too, I like the touch of it looking more like Koraidon! Kalosian Piedov is adorable! and I saw go with the white peacock look! (was it Psychic/flying, with all the eyes?). The idea of a convergent evolution of Hydreigon as a cerberus is genius! If you wanted to keep with the naming convention: Chiune (Chien (fr for dog) and Une for one), Deuxlous (two and Jealous, like Zweilous) and Cerspectrois (Cerberus+spectre+Trois (3)) And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS DRUDDIGON, AHHH!! I love Gargoyles, I love this concept and the execution, so good! I always liked vespequeen too and I think this design is very elegant. Though the red does make me think more Bloody Mary...and Meganium was always a fave starter personally so I love this "Rose of Versailles" take on it!

The meganium should have triage as an ability it would give priority to healing moves such as giga drain and draining kiss and making a meganium somewhat viable
