Could have been a mini game on one of those side games cuz I'll tell you one of my favorite mini games and a side game was that one word it's basically hungry hungry hippos but instead of being a hippo on the edge of the board trying to eat the marbles it's you control a lickitung who is trying to eat different styles of sushi off of a conveyor belt that circles them you get a different amount of points based on how much the sushi costs but like me the lickitung are not good with spice so if any of them eat anything with wasabi their mouths are basically on fire for several seconds and you lose time so there's a penalty for taking just anything my favorite mini game that was actually in a main series game well not even a contest Pikachu's Beach

They released October 2001 in the Neo Revelation Set, with the first Shining Pokemon being Magikarp and Gyarados. If you are only not using the Trading Card Game and including the Mobile Games, then the "Who has never officially owned a legendary pokemon" Is actually incorrect if you include Pokemon Masters EX and is a trick question with no correct answer: In that game, one of the Synch Pairs for Lillie has her officially own a Lunala in her 2021 Anniversary Variant, Solgaleo in her 2024 Anniversary Variant. @@shadowfan115 On a technicality, I don't think either would count. She never officially owned the Nihilego like she did the Magearna and the question was specifically for Legendary Pokemon. Which, unfortunately, neither Magearna nor Nihilego are (Magearna is a Mythical Pokemon and Nihilego is an Ultra Beast which are treated differently from legends)

I mean define canon because if we're counting Blaine's Mewtwo in Adventures, do we count Lillie in Masters owning both Lunala and Solgaleo... Also Blaine never officially captured Mewtwo he battled alongside it, and was the primary source of Human DNA that was used to mutate Mewtwo. The one that officially captured Mewtwo in Adventures was Red. Now to make the question truly no answer there's also the TCG where Blaine's Moltres was a card, so in fairness the question was weighted poorly.

Regular Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew, that are forms... because they are different from eachother, aside from coloration. They even have different typings. Vivillon is a color change, not a form chance.

I think w/ question 5, the true answer would either be all of the above or none of the above w/ the technicality of ownership. My reasoning is that A is done purely out of necessity of the Pokemon (bc. until late gold/silver arch, Mewtwo would die if it and Blane were to ever to be over ~15 miles apart) and Mewtwo's free will was otherwise retained, B & C are probably both the legendary Pokemon choosing to work w/ their respective trainer (B might be the only case of actual ownership here, bc the anime probably doesn't really go into detail about it), and D is a guardianship (Lilly raising Nebby).

Considering you did say across ALL media (only excluding the TCG) and Lillie does officially own legendary Pokémon in the game Pokémon Masters EX (she has two sync pairs which do- one with Lunala and one with Solgaleo). Since there are animations in the game which imply the Pokémon are kept within Pokéballs (specifically when fainting, they are recalled in a way that is specifically done when recalling a fainted Pokémon back into their Pokéball in other media), that would mean there is no real correct answer to the question.
