Streamlight TLR 7 sub SIG P365XL Review

Sweet review I’m gonna get the TLR 7a in desert tan for my sig 365 xl specter comp and and Glock 19. Then I’m getting the tlr 7 sub for my Glock 43. I didn’t even know about the mag guts being able to have 14 in a 12 round magazine that and the great review earned my sub I thought I was just going to have to buy the big 15 or 17 round magazine

Great light in my opinion. The issue is after the first magazine the lens is pretty much blacked out. Which is a pain to clean off. However a drop of CLR cleaner immediately releases the carbon without scrubbing. Just apply and wipe it right off.

So I hear you can smear a bit of lip balm on the lens and its keeps the gunk off....haven't tried it though.

Nice overview but I think your explination of run time is incorrect for the Olight. True, the light steps down after 1 min but if you turn it off and back on you get 600l again, for another minute. If you are using the light correctly this isnt an issue at all. My understanding is that it throttles the output for battery and thermal protection of the LED/Driver electronics feature.

JUST got my TRL-7 sub and attached it to my P365x.... tightened the S%&$*# out of the (main screw + two below) and I will say that mine is NOT what I'd call rock solid tight. There is a little up and down play. Haven't fired the pistol with the light mounted yet so, I can't say whether the light is going to hang on or thrash its way through the "rail". Kinda disappointed though.

i HAVE 365 XL SLIDE WITH 17 RD MACRO FRAME THAT HAS A STANDARD PICATINNY RAIL SO i CAN USE THE O LIGHT VALKYRIE 2 LITE. THIS SET UP GIVE ME 17 PLUS 1. 18 ROUNDS WITH A 17 ROUND MAG BACK UP. HARD TO BEAT THIS SET UP FOR THE ITS SIZE IN MY OPINION.

Streamlight is telling me that the TLR 7A sub it NOT compatible with the rail on the 365xl as it has no "key". Your opinion about mounting without the "key" the so highly advise to have. HELP!

The O-Light is inferior due to the throttling AFTER 1 MINUTE, which then is enough reason to totally reject the O-Light altogether. I'll be getting the superior TLR sub.

To install TLR 7A you have to mount an adapter rail like recover rail or tactical development.

Why do I keep stumbling across these after I've already purchased something else and it doesn't work? It's almost like Google is malicious... Duh! I've just spent the past weeks and months buying this that the other thing for my sig Sauer p365xl with Romeo red dot. First Romeo Vance guns here in Columbus Ohio installed it wrong and I had to return it and put a second one on myself. They sold me the xl in a package with the safety and two extra magazines. Like everyone else I spent way too much money trying to find a holster that wasn't a piece of crap. I ended up with the iwb lock leather because kydex just digs into my side. Owb holsters just stick out like crazy but I bought one anyway with a paddle and almost never use it. Now everybody says you got to have a light and I listen to tactical rifleman on the KZbinz. So I end up ordering two or three of those and find out they either don't fit like the o lights or you can't find holsters and on and on. So I bought and returned like two or three different lights a couple of adapters a couple other items never got delivered so I got refunds on everything thank you Amazon despite it being a huge pain in the ass. Finally I get the tlr-7 sub and it fits and of course the battery is dead on arrival. The one thing about Amazon is when you call and complain they offer you gift cards and refund so I got 20 bucks back an ordered like six Duracell batteries basically for free! Of course now I've got three different holsters on order and we'll see which ones function. Why is it always this way with our toys?
