Hey you, remember me Way back in North Quincy Go fast, hold back If we hold on for one day We just might last I remembers bouts Morning blackouts Coupled with a hate of interior self Reluctantly admit desperation Availed a place for an education Hey you, do you remember when We were two angry kids The first days they were rough Living a bluff Talking the talk but not walking the walk You stuck a finger in my chest Saying mister don't jest Your life is on the line This is not a test Hey you, do you remember when We were two angry kids Hey you, do you remember when We were two angry kids Yeah I know we have never seen eye to eye And I know we have had our falling outs Still got lots of love for those early days Looking back you know they saved our lives Hey Waller, Thank you for the Benson and Hedges therapy! So as the days go by Remember Quincy In the barbershop Down in the hole In the name of a hope In the name of a prayer Look at the whole gang We're still making noise Hey you, do you remember when We were two angry kids Hey you, do you remember when We were two angry kids

Are people really saying crying about them moving labels? Selling out isn't an issue, you are talking about a Lead singer that walked away from Drop kick Murphy right when they started getting huge because his heart wasn't in it. Got nothing to do with money

maybe being on a bigger record label will allow them to push their message further. regardless of the hypocrisy. i'm sure for the most part it will be heard by more people than some small-time "legit" band - and ontop of that they get paid. the system aint fair on everyone but if it offers you a chance to make your life a bit easier then you'd be stupid to turn away for the sake of "authenticity".

Oh gee, another outspoken 'expert' from the Netherlands. You people only use English to be annoying, please stop learning it. And as for your ''punk elitism'', no one who matters actually cares whether a band is authentically 'punk' or any genre, it's all music and all that matters is that it sounds good - and from time to time, you can relate to or appreciate the messages. Stop talking shit about who's 'selling out' or 'posing'.. you don't know them or their motives for what they do.
@RussoSerb14 жыл бұрын
@Cnat123 dude....for you to sit here and say that street dogs isn't punk is really bewildering. This particular song might not be the a traditional punk song but give one of their records a listen and you will quickly rescind your statement. The vocalist is one of the founding members of the drop kick murphy's for fucks sake. If Street Dogs isn't punk...then neither is Rancid, Anti-Flag....or anyone else for that matter and apparently we must have been all dreaming. *rolls eyes*
