I remember i first heard this song in Street fighter alpha Anthology. When you go far enough into the sound test to listen to music, you start hearing character themes from not only Super Puzzle Fighter, but also Zangief's theme from Marvel VS Capcom 1, Tessa/Tsubasa's theme from red Earth/Warzard, and Ibuki's theme from here! I loved this theme when i started playing Street Fighter 3 New Generation!

To me it’s like listen to the evolution of Capcom’s music. New Generation felt like they tested the waters with a few beats reminiscent of CPS2 and crossed with new samples, 2nd Impact started going with its own style which eventually came full circle with 3rd Strike. All in all such good times I wish with all my heart I could go back and experience one more time.

Love this version. The piano and mellow vibe in the 2nd impact theme ruin it for me. This version is faster and the aggressive bass and drums slap hard. A better fight theme
