2:20 Beating a Street Fighter a.i "fair and square" there is nothing fair or square about the a.i in any of these games...even remotely. Every one of them is literally the fighting game equivalent of a crooked ring toss game at a carnival. The only way to beat it, is knowing full well beforehand how it plans to screw you over. Or better still, avoiding the game alltogether.

darthkahn45 it's literally the cheapest game I've played in years. I'm actually very disappointed in how cheap it is. Especially Ryu, Ken, and Sagat. Literally just spam projectiles. I uploaded a video of Ryu throwing 9 fireballs in a row. One right after another. It's ridiculous. I dont care about a difficult game....but I do care if it's cheap as shit.

Yes...their damage is much higher, immediately get out of grabs, react to your inputs as fast as you do them, etc. Was designed to eat quarters.

super turbo is the first USA arcade version which includes glitch that puts it on the hardest difficulty no mater what. the rest are reasonable...esp alpha

If you have Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers for your Nintendo Switch, then you don't need to play the previous versions of Street Fighter 2. When I play Street Fighter games on Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection, I ignore the previous Street Fighter 2 games and stick with Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike. Plus, there is an option in the online options on Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection where you can turn the input lag off.

Yeah I was thinking about picking it up for the 3rd strike, and some of the alpha versions as I never got to play those. Also, like the snes version of turbo. Curious how the controls are with those and is the difficulty as bad with turbo version as others make it seem. Ive beaten snes SF2 turbo on the hardest difficulty level.. so curious if the difficulty settings in these games are in any way comparable to that.

Best tip I can give is don’t buy it unless you’re efficient enough for tournaments. The difficulty makes it an unenjoyable mess and a waste of money.

Street Fighter 1 the debut original game,lots of beginner will have lots of difficulties since the timing on special moves are even harder than the 2 & up series.

Albert8044 My tip for that is just keeping mashing the special move motions over and over like button mashing, it should get you through most fights with a breeze. Adon and Sagat will take a lot more trial, but that save game trick after winning a round should help a lot there too.

I was able to learn that the AI difficulty in the arcade games was purposely hard in order for the cabinets to gain more money from the players, resulting in the CPU opponents performing moves that are not possible with a human player, and I think the save feature is definitely a must for casual gamers such as myself who just want to beat the games (and even check out endings with the credits for certain titles like "Super Street Fighter II") without feeling cheated in any way.

@@KRickell Unless you have gone in and remapped the buttons on your controller, you need to hit '-' (the minus button). So pick the Arcade game you want. Once it plays the usual intro and begins Demo play. Hit the minus button and you're good to go. Admittedly, this wasn't advertised in the game itself and it did stump me for a few moments when I first tried to activate the character selection screen. Also, if you want to adjust the difficulty among other settings for each individual game. Before you select the game version you want, highlight its title and hit Y. This will bring up that game's difficulty setting.

I play with a Xbox 360 pad and i get good results in some local tournaments, isn't necessary to get a Arcade stick to be good in these games, only with you feel more comfortable, for example luffy who won USFIV EVO 2014 using a PS1 pad

I been playing SF2 since the SNES but the timing is so brutal on the 30th anniversary edition. Even a move as simple as Zangief's lariats are difficult to put out if the timing is just a millisecond off. PS4 controllers for this game is definitely something you don't wanna use. 😩 Do arcade sticks really make a large difference?

Arsunen I personally use the Xbox One pad but I find some moves don’t pull off as fluid as maybe using a fight stick. I don’t think it’s essential but it’s kinda upto you if you want to invest in a fight stick

Your tips are good. I would also say invest in a fightpad the Hori ones are really good and there are versions of it for both PS4 and Xbox1 & of course it work for PC as well. Use all fighters in arcade mode to figure out which characters you like the best as well.

There's a Street Fighter Anniversary Edition arcade machine in my local Dave and Busters. I tried to do the secret codes in SFA3 of unlocking Juli and Dramatic Mode but they didn't work. The codes work in my PS4 for the 30th Anniversary. Is there any way to perform the secrets in Street Fighter Anniversary Edition arcade machine?

Does 30th anniversary have an option to change gameplay speed? The original on SNES could do that, but i'm having trouble finding any fighting games with that option at all. Also, 6 button fighters don't work well on controllers, that last point is a big one. Maybe the n64 controller lmao 🤣😂
