How is it an obsession? Capcom redesigns are fucking tame as hell compared to MKX's. Also characters like Ryu, Chun, Vega, Zangief etc haven't been touched.

Actually, Zangief lost his backhand, which was his single most reliable method for handling projectiles as it came out quickly and ended quickly. Now he must rely on his extremely unsafe lariat for that or go for the obvious jump.

Well personally i felt Balrog SF4 desing was outdated (compairing it to nowdays boxers oufits, the cape/hood they added him with the boxing shoes look awesome on him, i just wish his battle outfit was his normal outfit without the cape/hood

So, when we say "Balrog", we're talking about the boxer, right? Capcom switching the names around for the west was a poor choice, IMO...

howabunga I know, I know. The boxer is named Mike Bison in Japan, which sounded too similar to "Mike Tyson", so they had to change it, but instead of switching the names around and confusing everyone later, why couldn't they have just named the boxer "Mike Buffalo" or something like that in the US? That's what they did for other characters, after all, like how "Nash" was renamed "Charlie" (before deciding that his full name was "Charlie Nash").

Not a rip off kid. He was based off of Mike Tyson. In fact his original name in the Japanese versions of the Street Fighter games is in fact "M.Bison" which is exactly why they switched up the names of Claw, Dictator and Boxer in the states. Boxer here in the states of course being Balrog. Please do your research before commenting.
