I've played both series since childhood but only casually, and then haven't touched Tekken since Tekken 5. Only in SF4 did I really learn about general fighting game and SF-specific fundamentals. But yeah I'm picking up Tekken 8 on day 1 as well and will learn it. Both games look amazing and I'm glad to see new players and fans on both sides.

Drive Impact and Rush are both great mechanics and the generous Parry are all gonna be great options for new and old players to experiment with. Modern and Dynamic controls are gonna be awesome for your non-fighting game playing friends as well I think. 10/10 demo, will be grinding level 3 Super character guide til June

I haven't been into fighting games since I was a kid playing tekken 3 but the SF6 demo has me interested. What always turned me off about fighting games is memorizing big combos but SF6 modern controls are dope. It's simple and seems ez to pick up hard to master.

This demo made me lose all confidence in this as the next big game. Don't get it twisted hardcore Street Fighter fans rejoice, this is what you've been waiting for; but Capcom is acting like this is going to revolutionize fighting games and try to sell us on that, and without proper voice acting in world tour so many casuals are gunna bounce off and refund the game. When I first heard the Minecraft villager grunting over dialog I thought my PC / headphones were acting up, not that this was the state the game is in 6 weeks away from release.

I think we can all agree that SF5 was flat out terrible and one of the worst Street Fighter titles ever. So, yeah, I’m from that same boat having absolutely HATED it. But, that SF6 demo was the truth. It’s like Capcom this time around did everything right in terms of how a modern day fighting game should be. With my experience, I had mad fun playing that demo, and went over every single thing it had to offer. Especially, seeing how crazy that character creation actually gets. That shit’s too funny. But, I kept it normal with my look. The gameplay had me hooked and it’s surprising how fluid the controls really are this time around. Regardless, 2 hrs of total playtime out of the demo wasn’t enough; I needed more. SF6 will be a Day 1 cop for me on June 2nd
