Definitely a knowledge check but this is punishable by every character in the game except Lily. A few others like zangief get really bad punishes, so that's something. Even with Ken, jab > cr mk > anything you want will always punish no matter the spacing.

Easy. Just do Hurricane Kick (qcb+kick) after you run (kick+kick).

It works if you catch the opponent mashing jab on ur block strings. If not it's unsafe. Worked on a juri that mashed every single time. Diamonds so maybe in master won't be as effective

-4 on the step kick is still punishable. Even if you cancel the kick into a super on block, you're wasting super meter for something that *might* hit your opponent

This is 100% not good against someone who has a brain In all of the examples he shows in the video, they’re not doing a reversal jab, the (bronze) Cammy is pressing chk after blocking stepkick, which is… questionable

Hey, thank you for the comment. Strictly speaking, you are correct, so I appreciate you taking the time. Your opponent *can* hit you with st.jab (most oppoonents) if they're ready for it, but so far, I haven't had anyone throw this back in my face. EDIT: ""100% not good against anyone with a brain." Bro, chill. There are pros failing to punish sweeps in SF6 right now, and I've put this to work against a lot of good players. You're pretty good on the keys, but something tells me you let a punish opportunity or two slip you by in Street Fighter every now and then.

You should probably change the title dawg since it is NOT a free frame trap since it is negative the moment you cancel it while allowing your opponent to press basically anything lol, the pressure is also just not pressure to anybody since you are literally running towards the opponent to be hit ,it’s kinda counter intuitive actually.

In this video, it kinda looks like I just run around doing this constantly, but I really don't. When people know to look for this, yeah, they can sometimes punish it. But, when you mix it in with a lot of meaty step kicks the way I do, the opportunity passes them by more often than they'd like to admit. Thanks for the comment!

Hp by itself is safe iirc, not to mention single hit confirmable, so i dont see why you would feel the need to commit to a -4 frame trap, which will FOR SURE getting punished. As for the “steal your turn” part, essentially you’re saying you mash 4fr on -4 💀. But hey if it works in your games, great. Eventually someone will crlp rush combo into CA and take the round from you, but until then you’re good to go xD

You are aboslutely right. It's already happened. This still works against strong opponents when mixed in with other things in Ken's kit, and it's not always easy to punish correctly just because you know you can, but you are still right. Thank you for the comment!

Maybe if you are not master yet, do not make videos to teach tech? Pros fall for fake stuff sometimes, but 90 percent of the time fake stuff get punished. This in fundamental is wrong already, but all kind of fake stuff works till diamond3 maybe… then yeah.. reality checks in
