Street Fighter 6 M. Bison Gameplay Reveal! Release Date & Reaction

The first gameplay trailer for M. Bison was just released for Street Fighter 6. He will be the first new DLC character for season 2. I was blown away by his redesign, which included a lot of cool animated attacks while also keeping it familiar with psycho crush, stomps, and knee presses. His drive rush looks insane, with a lot of anti-projectile specials. The icing on the cake is that he will be releasing right away, near the end of this month, on June 26th.

Bison doesn't teleport anymore, he just DR from one edge of the screen to the other without ever occupying any point of the space in between.

Capcom not caring about tournaments with regards to and in conjunction with game updates and simply releasing things regardless of tournament dates is so refreshing. It shows to me they are heavily focusing on the games balance and character updates non tournaments which arguably makes up 90% of the playerbase. They aren't letting tournaments dictate their movements finally!

Bison’s Throwback Outfit 2 is so nice, he looks as intimidating as he was to me facing him in SF II. Along with Elena, this has got me the hypest about Season 2. The explanation behind Bison’s status will be interesting to find out, but he looks incredibly vicious for 6 👀 Also, yeah…the vanity of this dude riding a horse with folded arms is hilarious 🕹️😆👍

I love how this version of bison feels visually. Bison in older street fighter games felt like a villain, but felt like the kind that relied more on magical power over physical power. Like he would be the kind of villain to just float around and shoot fire balls at you, and teleport out of danger. But this Bison has so much weight behind his animations, and that drive rush? Man if Ryu steps anywhere into this mans line of sight he is going to *bolt* , straight *B-Line* right up to Ryu and beat his ass

Yes, this is a 10 out of 10 design, I agree. I love the "villain's comeback" vibe of it, the look alone tells a story, even to people who don't know the character. The horse is a great idea. Bad thing that they're showing all his stuff with Ed as his punching bag. It does make sense story-wise but the boy already has problems, like not getting any buffs... ^^

I think Bison finally has a character to get into. Rather this is the Lily from T Hawk, in Bison's case he is a new man taking Bison's moveset with his own character lore.

Bison looks like he doesn't have any projectiles or that Vskill move where he absorbs the other opponents fireball and throws it back at them in SFV. Still he looks to be hard to deal with all of the new tools he's given. I don't like that he's back but his gameplay & design look is pretty sick ngl, let's just hope Luke can do a better job taking him down than Ryu(and Nash) did.

SFV Bison was not Bison to me. Despite whatever anyone may think or care about when it comes to tier list and where he was in SFV. It didnt feel like Classic M. Bison, and as a Zangief and M. Bison huge fan, I just couldnt get on board with the overall changes to either of them. I am so happy they decided to bring back the more classic Dictator, unrelenting pressure, your worse villain’s worse villain, M. Bison we all should have grown to love. Seems like a minority of you are still stuck on SFV Bison, sadly, but if you thought he was scary in the last game, with how they are presenting the character now, you aint seen nothing yet. Crazy part though, listening this video while typing, I been watching Vesper for mad long, since SF4, surprised he seems so…unfamiliar…with a lot of what Bison was doing in the gameplay trailer.
