They changed the cannon, originally Ryu beat Sagat when there was no dark hado. Then they changed it to create the Evil Ryu narrative.

Yeah. It was still fire though. That junk was anticlimactic. Ryu had changed Sagat every since then and made Sagat an even better than he was in alpha. Sagat has respect for Ryu now. I like it when characters beat up another character but then after that the character that got beat up has respect for the character that wins.

Beautiful content as always. I feel that Oro was focused on putting just enough pressure on Ryu to push him to the point where he "should" break. Even in the illustration Goro is keeping a stone from falling on his own head.🤣

ryu is as strong as ppl like asura, hulk, superman, one punch man, kratos, goku. the proof of this is his fight with akuma. the problem is, he fights ppl on their level, which is why his feats are suppressed. this actually goes for most street fighter characters.
