La meta en la vida de Akuma era ser el mas poderoso, ahora que ya lo es y su meta es encontrar al oponente que sea lo bastante poderoso para matarlo, lo unico que lo vuelve villano es haber matado a Gouken (y segun Street Figther IV solo fingio su muerte), tratar de que Ryu siga sus pasos para que el se vuelva malvado y asi Ryu lo mate algun dia y ser un jinete de apocalipsis en Marvel vs Street Figther (eso último no canon)

When you here this theme you just run. The 3 people you don't fuck with in the SF universe are #3 Juri #2 Oro and #1 Akuma. Akuma and Oro were evenly matched in SF3 and Akuma never stops fighting and training. The man can obliterate your soul in a couple seconds it's fuckin' bad ass.

I’ve seen some debate over this in this comment section specifically but this is probably THE list in order of canonical strength 1) Oro could destroy 3rd strike Ryu with one arm who by that point had already defeated the satsui no hado and unlocked the power of nothingness. Oro also went even with Akuma and almost destroyed earth, this is shown in the pacific rim stage in USF4. 2) Gouken who canonically defeated Akuma in a bet to see who should train Ryu 3) Akuma 4) Ryu 5) Gill The last two are potentially interchangeable but this list is made with our current lore knowledge in mind

ya but isnt mr karate just a normal human?? ryos dad with just a mask on and going all out. no dark martial arts or anything special. not much of a threat or challenge for someone of goukis level. keep in mind he always holds back his true power too. unless he goes into shin mode. he basically a saiyan like character in street fighter. now orochi would be more worthy!! wish that was a thing in the capcom vs snk games. would have been epic. rugal is cool but goenitz beat his ass easily. lolz. i do love the orochi based charas of snk. iori especially. and ya i think he could have destroyed omega rugal in a fight. but only as shin tho... :D
