Notice that on Round 10 the score is set to 1-1 regardless of whether or not either player won a round. So it's possible for a player to win only 1 round and win the match in this manner. In later versions of Street Fighter 2 (Champion, HF, Super, Super Turbo), Round 4 is the "Sudden Death" round and the score is set to 1-1 regardless of what the score was before that.

I remember I got a double KO on round 4 playing on arcade. That was it no round 5 you lose the game.

This is true for Street Fighter II Champion Edition and the following games. However, in the original Street Fighter, there ware more than 4 rounds in a tie braker.

Those were the days when I heard the hoax rumor that unlocking Sheng Long battle was by not battling M.Bison and avoid M.Bison from damaging you for 10 rounds will cause Sheng Long to appear and battle you. But you got a Continue screen instead. Good times. lol

okay wow I remember EGM's 'Sheng Long' trick involved ten draw rounds against Dictator, but I never knew the arcade SF2 *actually* went up to ten rounds! I thought for sure they were making it up to make the bar that much higher to get to him! wild to see this for the first time.

Fucking ridiculous. To think people believed that they would play against sheng long if they could get up to round 10 against cpu M. Bison just blows my mind. Chances of getting a double KO or a draw game are extremely low. Multiply that by 10, and you would have better luck winning the Powerball than this.

@@PCCphoenix Wrong, please re-watch the video. Dhalsim never got a single win. Up until Round 9 Ken had 1 Win, while Dhalsim hand none. But in the Final Round (Round 10) the game awarded Dhalsim a Win, so both players had one Win each. I think the game awards an automatic Win to whoever doesn't have a Win yet, since it is the Final Round and the game is trying to have a Winner in this last round.
