Short little video I wanted to make after finding a pretty funny infinite in SFV that requires two non-playable characters. It's completely useless information, cool right?

Ooh I think I can chime in on this. Been romhacking Red Earth (an older Capcom FG) and came across something very similar! Theres a character called Kenji, who takes additional hitstun from Heavy attacks. The reason for this is Gethits are separated in to Light, Medium and Heavy, this is likely still true for SFV. In Red Earth, as the animation is loaded, there's an additional flag that is set to give the player control again, even if the animation shows them still getting hit. This is so you can move, block, jump, etc without needing the animation to finish, Capcom did this everywhere in 3S as well. In Kenji's case, his Heavy Recoil anims gave him control at the end of his anim, which lasts 25 frames, while Leo's gives him control on an earlier animation element, functionally on frame 20. It's not that the move did more hitstun, it's that the actual hit animation takes longer to give control back. It could be that's what happening to this weird dude!

A video of yours I’d love to see is a brief dive into Super Street Fighter IV 3D edition. I know that because the game has macros on the bottom screen it allows for some pretty silly stuff (like walking Sonic Booms or standing 720s) but I’ve yet to see a video that really summarizes what all is possible because of this.

SFV devs: randomize some random shit on a NPC character for shits and giggles, probably for the sake of variety when fighting him in survival mode or wherever he's from. There's a tiny bit of pushback so if you start the infinite from too far away it'll drop. Point blank there's no escape tho cause it stuns and kills the only character it works on before the pushback is an issue
