RIP Anthony Bourdain 😢 I used to watch all the No Reservations episodes as they came out years ago and somehow missed the Penang one until I saw it on Uncle Roger! Haven't been back to Penang for maybe 12 years now but seeing Uncle Roger's beautiful dedication to Bourdain I made up my mind to make the trek back to Penang from Australia this year and perhaps show my kids where I was born, grew up and went to school. I was too young to appreciate all this great food but these videos really have me emotionally hooked 😄

When I landed at Penang airport from Hong Kong by way of Kuala Lumpur en route, my host took me to a pure white huge food court that had a minimum of 30 food vendors inside to choose from. I've never been able to find it again. Best food I found in Penang. Absolutely delicious. Beef, chicken and especially seafood kebabs were my focus. Soups, too. My hotel had an AMAZING fruit, juices, breads, cereals, and teas and coffee buffet. No meat. But it was enough to keep you going until lunch.

Janggal rasanya ketika mengunjungi sebuah negara tentunya *malah mencoba makanan makanan China* ketimbang makanan budaya beragam Pribumi. Saya bertanya apa sebenarnya negara identitas malasia?? Krisis identitas?? Dari makanan berat pedas hingga makanan ringan Contoh *(Sop Konro,, Soto Medan,, Soto Makassar,, Papeda,, Ayam Penyet,, Nasi Gurih,, Nasi Lemak,, Rendang,, Ayam Bali Taliwang,, Pecal,, Nasi Krawu,, Nasi Tumpeng,, Nasi Padang,, Mie Aceh,, Pempek,, Batagor,, Bakso,, ikan Trenggalek,, Lemang,, Ketupat,, Sayur Lodeh,, Rebung,, Bika Ambon dan Masih banyak lainnya)* Karena kami beragam makanan *cita rasa Nusantara Indonesia* setiap daerah. Just a small correction India is in Asia, so it's Asian. I think what you mean to say is that it's a fusion of Indian (South Asian), Chinese (East Asian) and Malay (Southeast Asia) ingredients. All of these cultures are represented in Malaysian society. This is why Malaysia is known as "Malaysia Truly Asia" because all of Asia can be found in Malaysia.

What I like most as you can adjust the since level by how much you use. I like things spicy, but certainly not as spicy as you do. What I did was get small amounts of chicken broth, and add in a small amount at a time to get to where I wanted it to be, Then I spiced my food based on that. Great product! It is great! RM120.00 or USD26.00 for the whole feast of grilled fish, beef, crabs, snails, salads, stink beans and a lot of other dishes? Are you serious? That's really a freaking bargain!

I live in Australia, where 5 pieces of "king prawns" will easily cost you $60!!! For the cheaper ones its mostly frozen and not fresh. I miss Malaysian food!!!
