We were shown around West Mumbai by the lovely Brinda... what a great job she done. From getting thrown out of Prathvi Theatre down to get soaked through by the rain on the famous Juhu Beach and then humbled at Iskon Temple. We then had a beautiful lunch and cheesecake at a must visit restaurant Poetry. Thank you India! Thank you Mumbai! Thank you Brinda! We owe you another cheesecake!

It's the second largest because we have a population of over 1.4 billion- but if you look into the actual numbers, hardly 10 percent of Indians can speak English which is a pretty bad statistic when compared to many other Asian countries. I hear people boasting about how being a formal colony, 'most' people in India can speak English but that's obviously not the truth. In reality, hardly 11 percent of people even understand English in India, let alone speak it.

Generally foreigners don't like Pani Puri. The spice mixture is specifically suitable for Indian taste buds. If it includes hot ragda instead of water you may like it. But you will surely like Mumbai's Dahi Puri or SPDP.
