I'd have the RX-7....because it's different....its got no pistons, no cams, no connecting rods, no valves or valve springs and it sounds different as well...the brap brap sound track.....but it needs more power so i'd go billet 13B..bigger turbo and bigger boost...a reliable 630hp billet 13B would be nice here

Rx7 being launched at only 4500rpm.....driver error. You launch a piston engine at those sorts of numbers. Crank it up to 5500rpm minimum! I don't know what tyres he's running or when boost comes in but you can't launch a 13b at 4k and expect it to go 😂

not sure the RX7 and S2000 were actually pushing the claimed figures, pretty sure a 500+ HP RWD car would spin the wheels like crazy when launching. And if they somehow didn't spin off the line, they'd surely be faster than low 13s on the quarter. I also think something should be done regarding jumping starts, an automatic loss or maybe a restart of the race, not cool when someone can't help himself and needs to jump almost every race (even though their car is clearly much much faster).

Thanks for having us on channel Jamie, Mr2 made 517bhp on the dyno when it was last on... for people saying mr2 was jumping (he was the pace vehicle and rest had to keep up to the line to set of together) mr2 is all fixed & up an running solid again will deffo be back on the channel again. I dont think the rx7 & s2k running power they claim because they couldnt even record 100 to 200 kph 😅😅😅 they are moving like 300/350bhp car 🤓🤓🤓

Think the results sound about right. Factor in lower powertrain losses of the MR2, Turbo vs SC (s2000) and lower weight and it makes sense. 5-600bhp SC s2000s tend to run around 7s 100-200 on flat surfaces IIRC.
