Hassy all the way ! Nothing wrong with slower ! You're a big strong guy and is it really that heavy ? I'm 63 and carry mine all the time and love it so much it's one of a few cameras I'll never get rid of ! I use a Pentax 645 with 4 lenses that I really love too. Really a great camera too. I just keep adding to them both when deals arise. I also shoot FUJI digital but really love film a lot more. Great videos, thanks. Larry Mac

It isn't the best for street but it's still good fun to use and try 😁

I enjoyed this, the second half video was especially well shot. I shoot my Hassy a lot on the street, and am very happy with it. The operations become second nature after a while, but you're right, it will never be as fast and natural as a Rollei or Leica. I do a lot of presets - both focusing and exposure, and find that it lets me be quicker off the shot. I also alternate between prism and waist level viewfinders, depending on what I'm shooting. The 90 degree trick works well with a waist level, and often captures imgages even before the subject knows I'm shooting them. Keep at it! Andy

Yes, the Hasselblad is a brink, in shape, but it is no heavier than the beast DSLRs. It has such a beautiful feel to the images it produces that it is better to take it out often to get used of the weight.

Great video! :) I do agree with you a bit about the second half having a cleaner style and it does make you seem more at ease, but the first half was excellent for a POV with you explaining how you were metering and about the snow. All in all, more videos with Fay (Fae?) helping would definitely not hurt, but your style as a solo recorder is definitely improving too.

Just my opinion but I enjoyed that you had someone to video you rather than using a hot shoe mounted go pro. It made for a smoother video and it was good to watch you in action/ listen to your commentary. As for using the Hasselblad, have you considered using one of the quick focus levers that attach to the lens?

Glad you enjoyed the second half of the video I'm doing my best to get help recording more often, As for the hassy I have had a look at the quick focus levers but it's not just the focusing it's the sound of the shutter for street why I don't pick it up as much for street

why are the photos tilted? home depot has some levels. they help a lot that way you don't have to crop the photo in post or force the viewers to adjust their heads to the side.
