Yep its called making money and even if everyone who goes there over the event gave 1 dollars that's is close to 200K over the event period, just think of the news coverage and then more families will go? Also its does not cost a dollar to go in, they make a killing sure they have wages and insurance and prep work etc etc to run a event, security etc etc, but in the end they would not do it unless they are making a killing? Think of the government political arena and how good summernats will look world wide, helping those in need, plus they get back 50% of the donations anyway as a end of year tax deduction?

Driver 302 the founders have talked about this awhile back they were Gona cancel a long time ago because the police/state gov was demanding to follow safety rules or get massive fines and even jail time, can’t remember what Summernats DVD it’s but the main guys that run the show went into more detail about it. I remember them saying yes the rules suck but it’s either that or no more Summernats and me and thousands of other people are glad they kept the show going At the end of the day it’s getting a lot of people into cars e.g the kids, and I can’t believe how much you’re allowed to get away with at the event anyway. Think of all the positives ❤️
