I like the 84' Hurst/Olds paint scheme, I had an 83' H/O which has the colors reversed, and the 15th Anniversary emblems, you should paint her like the 83 to change her up sometime. Love seeing a G body Olds. My Favorite cars of all time, I'm working on getting a 85-87 442 soon. "There is a Special Feel in an OLDSMOBILE".

I'm no gm fan but watching this show is more beyond then watching for just one brand. I believe it's based more on characters than brand specific. #boostedGT

Hey is the cuddy the only LS motor of the OKC cars? This car has always been one of my favorite cars on the show especially now that it's running a turbo LSX. I just built a 99 TRANS AM WS6 LQ4 6.0L 408 stroker full bolt on with a 250 shot. She's not all the way finished yet just got to drop the motor in and finish my suspension. Video to come soon Hopefully. Good luck this season guys.

What is that a GT5088? On a 408LS I'm sure it made 1100-1200whp atleast. clean looking set up and one of the best tuners in the country on the job. The cutty will get it done.

chopstix396 i was just guessing. Hopefully it made more. If its a billet wheel that turbo should support 1600hp. But the dont say if its a 4 bolt LS or 6 bolt LSX block. What boost, C.I or any other important info so its all just a guess. Lol if i had to guess if you buy $800 billet valve covers now You have T.V money, you probably went with a RHS,Dart or LSX block.. and now the cutty is a weird grey color..

You can make 2000 horsepower on factory blocks but they dont last long ,, i was more blown away by the air to air intercooler ,, inconstant IA temps makes the engine less consistent , cus the hotter intake charge means less air .. Water to air is much better for consistency

They never tuned his car they just added bigger tires, adjusted the suspension, and re-scaled the car. Murillo is a track veteran but a newbie on the streets, having chief take care of all those adjustments sped up his converting from the track to the streets by taking all the guess work out of it.

Why the blow off valve is not at the nearest of the intake ? air is elastic ,wouldn't be better to manage the pressure at the end of the line where you have the real and final air quantity/density ?

Its got to be bigger than a 408. My 408 is based on the LQ9 iron block, which is based on the production LS1. But the LSx block is far superior as it is rated for 2,500 hp, and it adds an extra bolt for the heads for each cylinder (for boost applications). So, if it were an LSx block it would probably be a 454 or higher.

Richard Mogel Yes I do think a 632 with 3 stages of nitrous will make 1400 RWHP. What would you think it should make? If you think it will make more than 1400 RWHP your are a fool. Anything is possible but when you start talking RWHP anything over 14-15 hundred RWHP on a street can and making the car hook is something else.Take a look at this video (1150 HP Nitrous 632 BBC from Nelson Racing Engines. Episode 210. Tom Nelson.) That's 1150 hp off the crank. What do you think RWHP would be on that? Like the old saying Spinning isn't Winning. They might be able to make more hp but I would bet they aren't running a all out tune up on the street and if they do they aren't winning with one.

So it's a 408? I assume it's a stroked 6.0L out of a truck, right? Wasn't the chief's red truck running a similar setup as well (stroked to 402 I believe believe)?

More than likely an iron block. I would think probably an GMPP LSX block with 6 head bolts per cylinder to keep the head gasket happy during high boost, where all other LS blocks (Iron or Aluminum) only come with 4. The aluminum blocks are about 100lbs lighter BUT they are more prone to the cylinder lining or sleeves moving around during high amounts of boost and causing problems with the head gasket.

Single turbo so why is there two exhausts? Nice set up and like the fact you went with air to air IC instead of that heavy ass ice box set up. Plus another gain is the shorter IC pipes. Take Chiefs, he's got miles of IC pipes and that hurts turbo performance. Looks great guys!

Why do you think there's two exhausts? Turbos are exhaust driven. On top of that, it's in a V8. Four cylinders on each side, so two sets of headers. This beginner stuff, dude.

Jason Hook What are you even talking about? It's a single turbo so there should be only one exhaust pipe coming off the turbo. There's two exhaust pipes on each side of the front tires. That's where my question comes in. I guess ones the wastegate dump.
